I was watching my Wrestlemania Anthology collection, and can't work out why so much of the wrestlers theme music had been changed.

For example Big Boss Man at WM6 came out to his corporation music, Demoltions was different, Superfly. Anyone have any idea? Just been bugging me since I noticed.

Probably because they don't own the rights. Jimmy Hart did quite a few themes and the WWE can't use a good portion of them.

If you noticed at WrestleMania 1, Hogan's music was changed from Eye of the Tiger to Real American.

See I would never buy any of those dvds because I want the actual event hte way it happend

To be honest, Eye of the Tiger wasn't even in the original VHS release of WrestleMania 1 because they didn't get the rights to the song...

Ok. Thanks man. I knew that Kevin Dunn does/did heaps of themes, didnt realise Jimmy Hart did too.

Yeah I believe since WWE would not give Jimmy Hart the music he made in WCW that he will not let them use the music he produced in WWE.

Kevin Dunn did some themes? I did not know that. Must've been back in the early 80's then.

And I thought Jimmy Hart and WWE were on pretty good terms. He was in Smackdown Vs. RAW 2006, for crying out loud. And they used his "Eat Your Heart Out, Rick Springfield" song as his theme in the game.

Just because they're on good terms doesn't mean he has to give them the rights to use his themes.
