Update on Bret
 

PWInsider reports that as of right now, Bret is not going to be involved in anything to do with WrestleMania, and it’s unknown who will officially induct him at the show.

Here is where things get interesting. TNA heard that Bret was going to be at the hall of fame, and set up a meeting between Jarrett and Hart in Calgary. TNA had very much intended to make a deal with Bret big enough to snatch him out from under WWE. However, due to a family emergency Jarrett couldn’t make the meeting. If Jarrett had made the meeting, things very well could have turned out differently.

i think it is more of does bret want to be in the wwe hall of fame then money but i can see bret going to tna in april. when is wrestlemania i thought it was march why would they have the hall of fame on april fools day?

I think I should induct him.

Knowing the WWE, they'll have Shawn or Vince induct him.

I would LOVE to see Bret induct Owen this year. It will more than likely be Bret's final WWE appearence, so having him induct Owen would be immensely moving.

How about Benoit inducting him? They go way back.

Also, I think they might induct Owen and Eddie next year in a special "Wish you were here" HOF.

Yeah, it's a pitty that this might be the first WWE appearance of Bret in a long time and also his last.

I know the WWE didn't treat Bret the way they should and it wasn't only the WWE's fault, but it would have been great to have Bret in the WWE.

I mean, think about another Benoit vs Bret match or even a Benoit vs Angle vs Bret match, the thought alone makes me :drool:

There would be enough wrestlers for Bret to wrestle in the WWE, but it probably won't happen any time soon.

Though Bret did change his mind about the hall of fame thing, maybe he'll change his mind about the WWE. :-\

Could you imagine the pop that man would get? Hogan might get jealous.

Bret is physically unable to wrestle. He could literally die from taking a big enough bump.

He's had countless concusions and a stroke, so there is NO way that Bret will wrestle in a match. And IF he could, and he said this on Byte This I believe, he wouldn't want to anyway because it wouldn't be up to his old standards, which are rediculiously high.

Thats indeed true, but watching at his old matches makes you kind of hope to see him wrestle once more...and against Angle and Benoit would be perfect imo :love:

I like better Bret takes the stage as they're announcing him.... Only to have them give it to Shawn.

I thought about it and Bret no showing at WM would be pretty funny 2, can't help it, but i can see Vince his face looking all shocked and i'll bet he will fire someone right on the spot.
