Matt Hardy & ????? *SmackDown! Spoilers*
 

So Matt Hardy & *Mystery Partner* will challenge MNM for the WWE Tag Team Championship at No Way Out. Road Warrior Animal seems like the obvious choice, but I just read something about the WWE thinking about teaming up CM Punk & Hardy, before scrapping the idea.

Anyway, I would love for the WWE to surprise us here. Animal does not need another reign with a Tag Team Championship. Sure, one half of one of the greatest tag teams of all-time teaming up with another half of another of the greatest tag teams of all time could be an interesting gimmick, but it is far too predictable, IMO.

Another thing I noticed is the Cruiserweight Match at No Way Out. You have every single personality involved in the Cruiserweight Division except for one...Jamie Noble.

I don't think he's injured, or in hot water with the company, so why is he not in the match? Why not make the match a 10-Way instead of an eneven 9-Way? I don't know why, but I have an inkling Jamie Noble *could* be Matt Hardy's partner at No Way Out. Not really any reason for them to tag, but since when has that stopped the WWE? MNM vs. Matt Hardy & Jamie Noble sounds much better than MNM vs. Matt Hardy & Road Warrior Animal as well.

Who do you all see the WWE using as Hardy's tag team partner? If you do think it will be Road Warrior Animal, what do you think of them as a tag team?

Or maybe it will simply be "The Rated ARGH! Superstar" Paul Burchill...

I admit, much as Jeff sucks, I'd probably mark out for the Hardyz.

A Hardy's reunion would be pretty cool for at least a little while. More than likely, it'll be a random pairing and result in the challengers winning, since like seven of the last eight tag champs have been people who've tagged together for like the first time.

But since it'll prolly be Animal, I won't.

Maybe it will be Goldust? He's doing nothing on RAW (winning meaningless matches on Heat, I think), so why not bring him over and have him feud with MNM. They both have that California thing going. Matt Hardy & Goldust could work as a tag team, I think. Plus it gets Booker T & Goldust on the same brand.

Holy shit! I've convinced myself Goldust would be the perfect partner for Matt Hardy. Just think about it, what with Goldust calling Hardy "Matthew" and all. Hardy can have a feud with MNM based on Melina trying to seduce Matt, while Goldust can just be the obessive protective guardian of Hardy.

I would love to see Johnny Nitro oversell the back body drop-counter uppercut Goldust does. *Goldust uppercuts Nitro, Nitro does a backflip off it* :drool:

Goldust can play stalker to Melina, which from anyone else would be a boring angle with no purpose, but with Goldust I can almost guarantee hilarity. Or you can have GD stalk either Nitro or Mercury. It's very rare that tag team members are allowed to develop their own personalities whilst remaining a tag team. Having Goldust pick out either Johnny Nitro or Joey Mercury to be his obsession could really be a good thing for the team, setting the members more apart than they are.

Plus it could mean the return of Mini-Dust, to compete in the Juniors Division.

Jeff hardy coming back would be a great surprise and would be exactly what Matt Hardy needs, but then Jeff wouldn't bother to turn up and crush Matt's hopes of getting his career back on track.

I just went on WWE.com, apparently Matt & ???? V.S. MNM is a non title match...

To be honest, I think its Jeff Hardy, he said in an interview once, that "it'd be cool to be a mystery opponent, or a mystery tag partner" he also said he wants to finish his career as a part of the hardy boyz.

Well, I hope he comes out dressed as a giant joint. Just so Shadow could smoke him without being gay.
