Entrance Themes and Appropriateness
 

While watching Smackdown last night, I realized how much Gregory Helm's new theme fits with his character. And I began to think on other themes I find really fit the character...and ones that don't. Here's a few I came up with:

Fits:
Kurt Angle's theme just works. Especially with his entrance.
HHH similarly, works well with his entrance.
Carlito's theme is perfect.
Simon Dean's theme has an energy to it that suits his gimick.

Doesn't:
Shawn Michaels. His "Sexy Boy" didn't really fit then, and it certainly doesn't fit now.
Randy Orton's theme is just bad...and somehow...not heelish.
Shelton Benjamin's theme never worked for me.
Orlando Jordan has never had a good theme.

Fits:
Cena's old theme Basic Thuganomics.
HHH's theme, because he's the gaaaaaame-uhhhh.
JBL's theme fits him, because it's got the stock market bell and the farm animals.
Daivari for obvious reasons.

Doesn't fit:
Cena's new theme, it just sounds bad...
Eugene's because it just doesn't sound right... it should be a disaster.
Batista's current theme, it's just not menacing like his old one.

Lashleys doesn't fit thats all I can think of now that has not been said.

RVD's fits

AJ's Fits
Jerichos Break The Walls Down Obviously Fits
Matt Hardy's fits

A.J.'s blows, not saying it doesn't fit, though.

I hate Sabin's theme.

Sabin has one of the best entrance music themes of all time.

He used to come out to AFI on the indies. That's a good entrance.

Actually I will be honest, if your really high and you listen to Sabin's TNA music, about half way through it breaks into some mad trippy shit. It's a lot of fun. Plus, who doesn't want music with people shouting "HAIL SABIN" (or whatever you last name is) in it??? I know I would.

Taz's ECW music was brillant for him. As was Shane Douglas', RVD's, Sabu's, Justin Credible, and Al Snow's.

Obviously all of Undertaker's themes have fit.

I think he should change it to something by Seether.

Not making it fit just doing so I can combine my favorite band and my favorite wrestler

What would you do if Chris Sabin joined Seether? Would you explode?

Or conversley, if Shaun Morgan became a wrestler and feuded with Sabin? WHO WOULD YOU CHEER FOR?!

The BGM for Cena's current theme is the first time a rap theme in WWE hasn't sounded like CRAP. But for a "face" Cena, it fits more than the previous theme...which was more of the lame game. The current theme is more of a "serious" rap song, which goes in line with the babyface role he plays.

The old theme actually fit Cena as a heel because it sort of echoed the kind of "lame" that fans thought of Cena back then. Like, "get this guy out of here, he can't rap" lame.
