Listening to the new Brand New CD
 

Sounds pretty good thus far. Only have listened to the first couple tracks. Track 2 is the best so far.

Listened to it. It's good stuff. Tracks 2, 7, and 9 stand out as my faves.

Are you sure you guys got the album or just the new demo album?

I've had the 2006 demo album for weeks now, it's pretty good, but more of an experimental effort than their final work.

"Fight Off Your Demons" will be quite an album.

I got the demos, dunno about anyone else. It was all I could find.

It's the demos. 2, 7 and 9 are the best, agreed. 2 is kind of Smiths-esque.

I like tracks 4, 5, and 9 besttttt.

I am really enjoying it, agreeing with the 2 (this song has the most amazing whiteboy disco breakdown), 4 and 5 love so far (it's as far as I've gotten). FakeRazor called the Smiths influence before I had a chance to, but yeah. I really like it. :heart:

SUPPOSEDLY, these are the tracks which are being cut from the new album so yeah, I guess it isn't the real CD.

If this is what has been cut, then the actual CD is going to be immense.

Track 2 and Track 5 are the sex, by the way.

Kinda glad that this is what got cut. I mean, it's not like these are bad songs by any stretch of the imagination (a few of them are amazing), but I would have been disapointed with the release overall. Has me even more excited for the actual release.

I only liked Thursday's first 2 albums (actually listening to Waiting as I write this.) Hopefully I like their new album, they are one of my favorite groups.

Yeah, the new TBS song is pretty cool. I've heard another one of their songs from the new album that was performed live... and it also sounded pretty cool. "Louder Now" shall be a good album. Compared to the first two, I don't know how people will take it, but I reckon, I'll enjoy it.
