Best new talent...

Who do you think would be the best new talent for a promotion. Not just a come and go thing like Hogan, but I mean for a promotion to have a new day to day star.

For WWE I think that Bobby Roode could be a great new guy. Get him away from Team Canada stuff, and let him go out there as a small powerhouse guy. I could see guys like JBL, Benoit, Finlay, and a dozen or so other guys having good matches. I think Roode has the looks and even the talent to get in there. While he isn't a large guy, infact he is quite small, but something about him strikes me as "bigger" then what he actually is. Kind of like how Mike Awesome was...but knowing WWE they would fuck it up...so who cares.

TNA unquestionably would be able to make take Rob Van Dam. Like his time in ECW, he could become the unquestionable face of the company...and he could wrestle with everyone from their heavyweights, tag, and could pull out incredible matches with their X-Division. To me, RVD is the image and style TNA is trying to champion anyway. Or Jericho...thinking about it if done right Jericho could fit in any company...but will probably continue to get shat on by everyone. But that brings me to my next thing...

That new Unleashed company needs something more then just Chris Daniels to make any type of mark. If they could bring in a guy who is a draw, legit main eventer, and someone who is in it to support the company he is with...not to mention one of the all time greats on the mic and a legend in their own right as far as in ring performances go...they might actually stand a chance to not get kicked off the air in recrod timming if Chris Jericho was amoung them.

Now...finding the biggest draw possible for RoH was a little more complicated. RoH won't take just any big name person and accept them. It's kind of RoH's double edged sword...they are die hard loyal fans, who won't allow RoH to take a quick and easy star power way out. So for RoH, I think the best star to pick up for him would be (provided he walked out of his contract) Carlito. He is good enough in the ring and could be one of RoH's only real mic workers. Plus he isn't like an established WWE guy, so RoH fans could accept him a bit easier.

Anyone else...thoughts, comments...

Carlito.

Some guy called O'Haire but I'm not telling you anything, you don't already know.

I know you Disargee with this The One, but...

Samoa Joe

Joe is going to be big star in TNA, but if he went to the WWE he would be the next biggest draw in the company

I doubt it.

I love Joe as much as anyone on this board, and I don't want him in WWE. They'd make him change his style which is one of the main reasons he is over. No more musclebuster, no more OLE kicks or face washes, DEFINITELY no topes.

For the WWE, I would have said Punk before they picked him up, and kept him in OVW. Honestly I think Colt Cabana would be great in the E. He's around 240-250, athletic, and charismatic to all hell.

Eric Young. Seriously could be the next Shawn Michaels.

Kevin Steen is the future of wrestling.

He'd be a good addition to TNA in a couple of years. He's like 20 and if he keeps everything up, he'll be a huge star.

I'm sure Bret Hart has even said he's the future.

Chad Dick. He is like amazing, and his match with the Boogeyman on Smackdown! proved how brilliant he is in-ring.

Jay Freaking Lethal

Nick....Mondo :shifty:

What Would Kevin Do? 03-01-2006 01:32 AM

I love Joe, but I don't think he should ever go to WWE. RVD would be great in TNA. I agree with Carlito in ROH. Or Shelton Benjamin. However, while it's not possible, IMO, ROH's greatest aquisistion would be a healthy Kurt Angle. Or Jericho.

Austin Aries
Roderick Strong
Alex Shelly

All 3 of these guys are awesome

Pinnacle Charisma 03-01-2006 07:23 AM

TNA- Christain I think is a great fit for TNA now. I also agree with Naitch about Jericho and RVD. I think both will end up there one day. I also think that if CM Punk went to TNA he would be huge. He dosnt seem to fit the wwe and I would imagine TNA would push him to the moon. Imagine the matches and feuds he could have with Cage, styles, joe (again) and Daniels.

wwe- Thats kid of a hard one as you never know what Vince is going to do with new talent. Will he saddle them with a stupid gimmick (Burchill, the spirt squad ) or compleatlly change their wrestling style and promos (Cena )

ROH- I think Shane Helms would be awesome in ROH. He would do great things as thier top guy.

I think Unleashed needs some established guy from any major company of the last ten years to give it credit amoung the smarks and marks alike. Somoone who is talented and who has had any screen time with any big wrestling company

Dave Youell 03-01-2006 07:26 AM

Punk has already been in TNA and they underused him then IMO

I think if Punk was in TNA now he would get pushed to the moon. Prehaps back then he was not as talented as he is now

JH 03-01-2006 10:10 AM

Dave man it's a known fact that Punk ran his mouth to the wrong people in TNA and thats why they stopped using him
