The Goon
 

So I was watching the Gimmick Battle Royal from Wrestlemania and saw this guy named The Goon. He was dressed as a hockey player and had long blonde hair. Now I don't remember this guy at all. Who was he? Just some jobber?

Alls I Know he did a running hip check into his opponent on the apron and let them get counted out for a finisher and he sucked

Yeah, just some jobber played by a guy named "Wild" Bill Irwin. He was most known as a tag team wrestler with his brother in the Texas, Missouri and Tennessee territories back in the 80's

Trivia-The Goon gimmick was the idea of Scott D'Amore

Then for that, and only that (so far) Scott D'Amore is an idiot.

I loved him. At the beginning of every match he "dropped his gloves."

Yeah I remember the Goon. He wrestled in WWE from 96-97

I bet his idea and the product Vince McMahon produced couldn't have been more different though.

I think he only had like 2 matches in the WWE (3 if you count the gimmick battle royal).
