It was well worth staying up for. After seeing Lacy get completly destroyed, it's gonna be hard for him to be taken so seriously.

I think he can still be taken seriously. They just need to realise Calzaghe is another level above the second best super middleweight out there.

True. Just watched the fight again and it's incredible to see how better Calzaghe was, even though on paper Lacy was the favourite.

I was watching TV at night and thought I might as well stay up another hour to watch Calzaghe for the first time ever. I was think "What's all the hype about?" And now I know...

I met Calzaghe in 2000, and I have a photo of me and him up on my wall, and I'm holding his WBO Super-Middleweight belt. Great guy. :y:
