Resident Evil: EXTINCTION

March 8, 2006 - Production Weekly reports that actor Oded Fehr will be back for the sequel Resident Evil: Afterlife. Fehr, who appeared in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, will reprise his role as Carlos Olivera. Star Milla Jovovich also is returning as lead character Alice.

The site claims series vets Mike Epps and Iain Glen also will return as L.J. and the wicked Dr. Isaacs, respectively.

Filming is slated to begin in May in Mexicali, Mexico under the direction of Russell Mulcahy (The Shadow). The script was penned by Paul W.S. Anderson, who helmed the first Resident Evil.

Production Weekly says Afterlife follows a vengeful Alice as she leads a caravan of humans from Nevada to Alaska.

I fucking hate Alice. One of the most boring characters in film history.

TheNamelessOne 03-09-2006 03:41 PM

Ill only go and see it if Sienna Guillory is in it as Jill Valentine. Mainly because she as the only reason I saw Apocalypse as well.

Exactly.

I don't know why the RE movies get such a bad rap. Sure, Alice wasn't a real character in ANY of the games, but they're still good to me. Even so, if there's no Jill Valentine, then what's the point of living? >_<

They should have Jill but also Chris Fucking Redfield.

Resident Evil: Extinction

Tagline: They Just Keep Coming.

Plot Outline: Survivors of the Raccoon City catastrophe travel across the Nevada desert, hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice (Jovovich) joins the caravan and their fight against the evil Umbrella Corp.

Notice the cast. No Jill Valentine but there will be a Claire Redfield.

The RE Movies are freaking awesome. One of the best Game to Movies done.

D Mac 12-06-2006 07:07 AM

Also Linden Ashby aka JOHNNY CAGE is in it.

Not another one...I have loved every Zombie movie EVER. Until I saw the first and second Resident Evils. How horrible are these. They aren't even horror movies. They're really shitty action flicks. TERRIBLE.

Disturbed316 12-06-2006 10:26 AM

I enjoyed the Resident Evil films, looking forward to this next one.

lol, I don't think we're ever gonna agree on much :D

Destor 12-06-2006 10:59 AM

Nah, don't seem like it.

Destor 12-06-2006 10:59 AM

For instance I don't fuck sheep. And you didn't marry your cousin.

Bad Company 12-07-2006 02:52 AM

Fucked my cousin though. Apple Pie Pussy.

Destor 12-07-2006 02:59 AM

See we do have something in common. :D

Bad Company 12-07-2006 03:15 AM

There's hope for us yet!

Fignuts 12-07-2006 03:25 AM

They were kinda "meh" to me. Nemesis was awful. Kinda agree with destor. They should have leaned more towards the horror route than the horror-action hybrid.

I was under the impression the Ali Larter as Claire was BS.

Blitz 12-07-2006 03:48 AM

Didn't care for either of the first 2.
