What ex wrestlers do you think would make good commentators?

?

Stone Cold, when he's done his roles in the storylines somewhere down the road, would be a good announcer I think.

As far as people who are ex-wrestlers... I'm not sure at the moment heh, if I think of anything I'll edit.

Maybe DDP

Loose Cannon 01-31-2004 08:11 PM

Nash without even hesiatating. Say what you want about his wrestling skills, but the guy is hillarious

Mr. Nerfect 01-31-2004 08:30 PM

The Big Show when he retires. But DDP would be a throw in too. I agree with Nash. Al Snow, Mick Foley and Tommy Dreamer would make great commentators too.

Seabass 01-31-2004 10:14 PM

Owen

I'll agree with everyone except Dreamer. I was watching Barely Legal 97 (i'm pretty sure that was it) and Dreamer commentated during the Raven - Funk match, it was horrible in my opinion.

KayfabeMan 02-01-2004 01:34 AM

Diamond Dallas Page

DDP used to do commentary in Florida and the like back in the 80's,before
he began managing and then he did commentary in the early 90's WCW.He
was always entertaining, and knew how to call the match just right. :y:

Head 02-01-2004 01:38 AM

Randy Savage.

He did announce for a while in the early 90s, and wasn't half bad.

ilt_undertaker 02-01-2004 01:54 AM

Randy Savage or Kevin Nash

John la Rock 02-01-2004 02:18 AM

The Rock for sure

EazyMack 02-01-2004 04:52 AM

Tajiri.

EazyMack 02-01-2004 04:53 AM

Seriously, Nash and Big Show and Foley would all be good. Anyone who's funny on the mic, and also The Rock.

Corkscrewed 02-01-2004 05:18 AM

Bastion Booger :shifty:

I mean The Rock, Mick Foley, or Nash.

I'd also think having Ultimate Warrior do commentary would be hilarious.

Bad Guy 02-01-2004 05:29 AM

Big Show? That's got to be a joke right... /big deep voice> andwhenigetyouinthechokeslam... *stops to catch breath* GRAAAAAAA!!

Anyway as much as I hate him HHH seems like he'd do pretty good.

Tornado 02-01-2004 05:45 AM

William Regal..:y:

Dean Malenko. Seriously, I think he could add a Gordon Solie element to matches we don't see anymore.

Rob 02-01-2004 07:42 AM

Everytime they tried Nash in those roles he was horrible and his WWE promos sucked ass. Can't think of anyone off the top of my head but Shane Douglas and Raven are certain to be colour guys when they pack it in.

Sephiroth 02-01-2004 09:57 AM

Yeah i would go for Nash or Savage 2.

123 kid 02-01-2004 10:04 AM

Cool I would have Austin, Regal and maybe Roddy Piper
