Trips technically has only held the WWE Title 5 Times (World doesn't count)

So The Rock has held it the most 7 followed by Hulk Hogan 6

Steve Austin has also held it 6 times

Yeah I was thinking since it was technically called the WCW title, then that way The Rock technically won the "WCW" title once in his career. Well, atleast it was from Booker T, Rock wannabe. Booker is doing fine now, since he's changed his look dramatically.

Rock's bio on WWE.com states him as a WCW Champion, same with Jericho. But not Angle...too short to remember I guess?

NO your all wrong Earl Hebner has held more belts than anyone, he's held every belt up at the start of most heavyweight PPV contests, so he's held it like 6000 times or something

Rock was a 9 time champion overal (WWE and World) I'm pretty sure Ric Flair has held the most World Titles Overall

Yeah trying to figure out title histories is going to be very confusing due to the WWE's inept booking.

I dont personally think of Rock as a WCW Champion, the way I see that title is that he won the physical WCW title, but it has to be considered a WWE title because it was won in a match booked by WWE officials.

So, if we also use the logic that the RAW title carries the lineage of the old WCW title, and put that on par with the real world title (the SD title), then I would say Rock is winning in terms of WWE title reigns with 9 (7 SD title reigns and 2 with what is the RAW title). Trips is next with 8 (5 SD titles and 3 RAW titles), and then Austin and Hogan tied with 6 SD title reigns

But, if you want to talk about WCW and WWE titles booked on their own, Flair wins, with a combined 16 (or at least thats the number the go with). Hogan would be second with something like 10 or 11.
