The Haasttousai speaks on Big Show (may include SmackDown! Spoilers)
Awhile ago in the old forum, I remember slight debate saying Show needed a comedy gimmick like he had. The arguement was that "Comedy doesn't draw, and it would hurt his character."
Now, on the upcoming SmackDown!, Show dresses like Cena and challenges him to a rap battle. Which was said to be good. Now, I have a proposal. Give Show back his comedy gimmick, BUT, have him keep the monster gimmick. Like, he gets pissed REALLY fast, and gets REALLY violent. Like he could be joking with someone backstage, they say something about his dad (ala Big BossMan) and he flips out on them, chokeslams 'em or something, then goes right back to being a nice guy. I know I suck at details and all, but wouldn't this keep his monster gimmick while making him a comedic face? |

I've got Backlash 2000 on tape which I was watching the other day, where Big Show was being the "Showster". He was jusy playing around at first, but the moment Angle got some offence in, he just lost it and kicked the shit out of him. That seems to be a bit like what you're describing.

I agree.I had made that suggestion a long while ago,but then all of my friends quickly jumped to the other side and said that it sucked :cry: I definitely do agree with you :y:

There's nothing wrong with it, but it wont draw money.
Plus, do you really want Show to kill everyone, that means he will have to stay near the top of the card, which isn't the best idea. |
