Just Wondering if anyone else got this...
Apparently, I've won tickets to Wrestlmania in the "Big Time" promotion, but I'm just cynical enough to wonder if it's a phishing scam. Has anyone else gotten an email like mine? I just got it today and only have 3 days to respond.

Where'd you win the tix from?
|
If you didn't sign up for anything, and it's not from a WWE.com address, don't do anything as it's probably a scam.
Post a copy of the email here... |
I've been playing the game, but the only message I keep getting is "Sorry".
|
Here's the email:

And the forms have to be taken to a public notary, which does lend some further credibility. |

Sorry about the double post. |
That's really helpful, tardboy.
Seriously, you wanted help, and I asked for more information. When replying to me, you decided to be worthless as all fuck. The right answer would have been more in depth, since if they were really from the "big time" promotion, you probably wouldn't be asking. This: Quote:

I probably shouldn't help you, but I tell you this:
apparently, eprize does administer this sweeps, so this would seem to be legit. If you want to not be retarded, check out the rules as listed on the official "big time" site. |
DO IT
|
EH, here's my advice to you. Do it, but don't open the attatchment on your own computer. Go to a library or something to be on the safe side. If that actually is the company that administers the prizez, it should be okay, but still, don't open the attatchment on your own pc.
|
Sorry, KK, I wasn't trying to be a tard, I just thought that that was what you meant when you asked. I do truly appreciate the confirmation.
|
You may have actually won the tickets. I hate you. :(
|
congrats someone in TPWW has done something amazing...
Not me though....im too fuckin lazy |

Well, it SOUNDS pretty legit, but that could be saying anything. Congrats if you have won though man.
|
Congratu-fucking-lations! You MUST take a TPWW sign to Mania.
And get some good pics from the HOF ceremony (especially of Hart) |

lol sorry mate, that was me messing around. You haven't really won anything. I sent them to about 20 people on the board and waited to see who posted about them
|
sad guy!!!
|
^ misses sarcasm.
Anyway, sounds legit. You can always save the attachments then virus scan them if you're afraid of a virus, or open it in the library as someone else suggested. If the forum looks suspicious (like put down your SSN or credit card number), it's prolly a scam. They better have a good reason if they ask for the credit card, btw. If it's a standard address and contact sheet card, it should be okay, since anything who really wants to can obtain that info at any time. |
UPDATE:
It's legit, alright! I just signed my liability/publicity release that came from Stamford. Once we fax these, we'll be sent our travel package. Go me, it's my birthday! (Actually it was my wife's birthday Sunday..) |
get a big piece of card
and write out in bubble writing "T P W W" but out each letter then you and whoever you choose can hold up the letters! u t and p and whoever else (me :)) can hold w and w. would be great mate :P and congrats |

Sorry, guys. But if I ever - AND THE ROCK MEANS EVER - want any again I'm gonna have to take my wife.
As for what I get: Quote:
|
You lucky bastard. :(
|
You know that if you ebay that shit you could get almost double for it. Then go to the event on the day, buy some cheap tickets from a tout and spend the remaining $4500 on alcohol and strippers.
Now that's a weekend! |
You've got a wife? You're not supposed to get any anyways, asshole.
|
Ahaha good stuff man, I'll be there too.
