next star
Who do you want to be the next nothing superstar to be pushed??
|
funaki
|
Smackdown Numba One Supa Staa
|
HHH
|
In WWE = Tyson Tomko
In TNA = Eric Young In Indies = Air Paris |
LOL Air Paris.
|
Hey, I think he has talent...and as shitty as the gimmick was, Air Raid (Paris & AJ "Air" Styles) was an VERY entertaining tag team in WCW...despite being around for only like 3 weeks. :shifty:

I like Young but Im guessing your joking about Tomko. He will be unemployed tapping some checkout check in a caravan about a year from now |
HULK FUCKING HOGAN!
|
Cena.

Jeff Jarrett

Should be one of the younger dudes on the show lik'a

Chris Masters.
This guy just screams Charisma. WWE needs some good heels and I think he can fit the bill. He has been given a push, but he has not won any gold yet and I think it is time to put gold on the masterpiece. |
No no it is not time to put gold on the Masterpiece
|
Carlito, definately
|
Boogeyman's the next Smackdown champ. It's part of a cross promotion deal with the makers of "Call of Cthulhu."

I've said this loads, but I don't want to see one superstar get a push. Recently, they've proved they can push dead divisions by shoving the womens feud down our throats. The Trish and Mickey James feud finally looks to be coming to fruition after about half a year.
I want the tag division to get pushed. proper teams, not two monsters thrown together in a tandem when the script writers can't think of a decent storyline for them. The "Rate The tag Team" thread further enforces my belief that Tag Wrestling, at it's best, is awesome! |

Spirit Squad actually have talent. Well, a couple of them do.
Get the tag titles off Kane and Show and get Kane back in the title scene and have him win it! He's already been champion... for about a day. Give him a decent title reign. |
If WWE and Vince is serious about this drug policy, I wouldn't be surprised to see the surplus of hosses decline (Masters, Batista, etc.) We might go back to the days when Bret and HBK were champion.
If that's the case, and even if it's not, Carlito is my pick. This guy has "It" He may not be the man to make wrestling "cool" again, or be a multi-media star, but he has the look, a unique look, talent in the ring, talent on the mic, and the fans are definately into him. |

They could be Angle, Benoit, Jericho, Sabin and JEsus rolled into one, and with that gimmick, most people won't care. You know, except for the same people who gushed over how brilliant Burchill's armbar finisher was... |
Dont forget Daniels

WWE-Carlito
TNA-Jay F'N Lethal |

I'm assuming from this he means guys like Cade and Murdoch. I wouldn't count Carlito, Masters, Lashley..or any guys in a similar situation to them. You know they'll be big, and they're not "nothing superstars" at the moment, as they've proven the ability to be in the main event. Well, not so much Lashley. But, the fucking guy just screams "BROCK LESNAR TREATMENT!" I'd say I want Cade to be pushed in a few years. I like his look. |
Masters is already being pushed, just not main event push yet.
Lashley is sort of being pushd. Carlito...Probably not. |
I don't see WWE having a next superstar, well not a guy the level of Rocky or Austin or Hogan. It's going to be a group of guys. Similar to when the draft first happened and you had the Smackdown 6, it's going to be like that but the guys are going to rise to the Main Event as opposed to being midcarders.
|
I remember a long time ago someone here made a post about how stars like Austin, Rock, Triple H etc slowly grew in popularity and stuff... but now they're just thrown into the main event and stuffed down our throats every week.
Anywho, I pick Carlito. |
