Which Triple H was your favorite?

Snob

Early DX (with HBK)

Leader of DX

2000 Triple H (with the McMahon/Helmsley regime)

The Greater Power 03-18-2006 02:19 PM

2000 HHH.

The storyline was awesome to watch as a mark (with Angle/Steph) and his matches that year were all amazing (PPV matches).

2000 HHH during the McMahon/Helmsley era awesome IMO.

Lock Jaw 03-18-2006 03:36 PM

2000 HHH right up until the McMahon/Helmsley stuff. When he originally turned heel he was absolute AWESOMENESS.

The One 03-18-2006 03:48 PM

In between March 30, 1998 (The night he formed the new DX to include X-Pac and then officially the Outlaws) to May 21, 2001 (The night he tore his quad).

But without question the time in which he was the most exciting to see was his first WWF Title run. Everything he did at that point was pure fucking gold.

~Also Lock Jaw, by the time 2000 came around the McMahon/Helmsley Era was in full swing.~

When he lost to Vince?

jk, asides from losing to Vince and Show for 3 weeks, august to april was the HHH show.

The One 03-18-2006 04:17 PM

I would say even his lose to McMahon was done in a way that if you had to lay down for McMahon, he did it and it totally rocked.

JH 03-18-2006 04:23 PM

from DX up til now
still a trips fan and always will be even though he was an ass and would'nt sign a autograph for me

Rammsteinmad 03-18-2006 04:33 PM

with focus on his first WWE title run, that HHH was gold.

But really, HHH started slipping after Wrestlemania X-7 to no fault of his own.... then after coming back from the quad he went from being cool to sucking in a minor span of a couple of months.

I'd respect him more for not signing it.

sorry but i dont agree
trips, jbl, heyman and dean malenko are the only guys that i have ever saw refuse an autograph
and in my collection i have some awesome autographs including eddie, torrie wilson, angle, mysterio and a ton more that i could name
those guys know that the fans made them and trips should think about that

Loose Cannon 03-18-2006 11:07 PM

I'm cool with getting autographs at conventions and stuff. But going up to guys when there not at a signing thing. nah. I wouldn't want to be bothered by anyone.

Skippord 03-18-2006 11:09 PM

Anytime... Hes just the man.. He does so good promos and everything.. I like his new theme, King of kings

Jordan 03-19-2006 02:54 AM

WM 15-his quad injury... at that time he was all around the best in the world

What Would Kevin Do? 03-19-2006 02:58 AM

McMahon-Hemsley/2 Man Power Trip era overall, but his DX stint w/ HBK was the fucking shit.

Impeccable 03-19-2006 04:03 AM

Definately the 2000 Triple H. Especially when he teased the face turn against the Radicalz , came out with Road Dogg, Chyna and Billy Gunn.A week previous, Steve austin had gone to kick Rikikishi's ass, but a black glove reached around the door in a backstage segment and hit Austin with a hammer.

Austin came down to the ring to help Triple H, I think because Rikishi had got involved, but Trips destroyed Austin, donning the black glove to kick his head in! I marked out BIG time!

That's exactly the time that I was really into HHH. I liked him before, and after, but those couple of years I was really into HHH.

I think HHH is at his best when he's not the number one guy in the universe (How he's been since 2002). I prefer HHH being one of the main eventers and not the main eventer.

Stickman 03-19-2006 12:20 PM

I've liked him at all times, he's been pretty good at reinventing himself.

UmbrellaCorporation 03-19-2006 01:03 PM

I loved Snob Triple H, although I like the current one a lot as well. Always have been a Trips mark though.

We pay there paychecks, even when there not doing a great job.....But in all seriouness in the Rocks book he says hell never turn down an autograph. even if hes eating at a resturant, he states he prefers to be left alone until done eating then he will sign, but he also says if they ask before hand, he just tells him to wait until hes done eating. I always think that they should sign autographs unless there in a TRUE hurry. I know i would.

to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if HHH looked exactly like that in a few years, when he's the chairman of WWE

Jaton 03-19-2006 05:15 PM

Me either.

Fox 03-20-2006 03:48 AM

Early DX, with Shawn. They were an awesome team.

Lord-Of-Darkness 03-20-2006 06:13 AM

Early DX was gold, as well as the Power Trip.
