:naughty: I'm going to start using that in every thread I start in the wrestling forum.. in memory of one of the funniest things (unintentionally funny) I have seen in a long ass time.

i went to ECW's first and only westcoast invasion, Heatwave! That PPV was pretty good, saw the debut of the VanTerminator, and those dumb as shit XPW fucks causing a ruckus, i was 3 feet away from Sandman when he guzzled his beer on the 2nd balcony, and 2 feet away from Credible/Dreamer when dreamer went off onto the table. Holyshit, memories. ECW! ECW! ECW!

i went to ECW's only canadian show. best show i've ever been to

I went to Heatwave 98, their first tv taping (that ironically, never made tv) and one other show.

Living Dangerously 1998. Asbury Park is the biggest shit hole I've ever been too (and that's a few) but it still ruled.

New Jersey, besides extreme south, is one big shithole.

also that was the show where Rhino beat Kid Kash for the T.V title. It was a Hardcore TV/Spike TV taping

I went to one of the TV tapings in ECW arena in the 6th grade. I went with my Dad, and a friend. We got there early, but it wasn't early enough so we didn't get any seats, and we couldn't see anything. So we left after a half hour. It was hot as hell in there to.

I live on top of the Manhattan Center (Hammerstein Ballroom) so I may go to One Night Stand 2

Paul invited me over and we played Nintendo in his basement. His mom came down and offered us milk and cookies.

That's sorta like an ECW event.

Nintendo doesn't mean "Anal Sex" and "Milk and Cookies" doesn't mean "Doing Drugs", KK.

November To Remember 2000. Easily the best damn show I've ever been to.

I've been to loads of them. Used to travel up that way to see family all the time and caught a couple of shows everytime. Heatwave was probably the best show I've ever seen live, which says a bit because Angle/Lesnar Iron Man was pretty hot live.

I have been to 4 or 5 shows including the last two real ECW PPVs in NYC and they were all the best time I have ever had in my entire life. The atmosphere is the most incredible thing EVER. The crowd interaction and chants at each other and everything. It is just fucking awesome. NOTHING COMPARES.

Not to sound like an ass, but how do you direct chants at one another? Is it like, "Left side sucks!" or "Look out Morey!" Or what?

I know a real common one is "Sit the fuck down." when people in the front are standing up.

"Where's my pizza...." (One part) "Sal E. Ate it"!" (other side. Is another one.

Etc

etc.

Yeah, like the balcony seat people would chant at the floor seat people. "FLOOR SEATS SUCK, FLOOR SEATS SUCK", followed by, "YOU CHEAP FUCKS, YOU CHEAP FUCKS."

Then this bald guy in the crowd kept being mad annoying and touching every wrestler that got near him, and everyone in the balcony started chanting "HIT THE BALD GUY, HIT THE BALD GUY" and the giant security guard went over and shoved the FUCK out of him. Then this black woman in the crowd took his straw hat and ripped it up and everyone cheered.

Also, the ringboy would come in and wipe down the ropes with a towel after every match and everyone would go WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA from turnbuckle to turnbuckle, then one time he dropped the towel and everyone chanted, "YOU FUCKED UP, YOU FUCKED UP". IT IS THE BEST I DUNNO.

Yeah, that stuff too. Plus there were always huge START THE FUCKING SHOW chants before every show.

lol also there was this mad tiny section of like 20 people in this weird part of the "arena" (Hammerstein Ballroom), like all off to the side away from everyone else, and they kept starting a "SECTION 5, SECTION 5" chant. Then one guy in that section had a sign and they chanted, "WE'VE GOT A SIGN, WE'VE GOT A SIGN."

Yessssss the ring boy. He was so over.

It is great because it's so small so like everyone in the crowd can see each other and interact with each other and everyone was just a fucking huge ECW fan so you felt a connection with every person there.

Oh, plus the crowd would chant "SHOW YOUR TITS" at random girls and a bunch of girls did so.

Also I saw like 3 different people holding TPWW signs. :cool:

Yeah. And then if they didn't, they'd probably chant "She's got herpes."

At Heatwave, a bunch of people donated money to a guy who was wearing a wwf shirt, and they bought him an ECW shirt, then ripped the WWF shirt to shreds.

Best ECW moment ever though.

After the show, Raven came out in a towel. It's hard to explain, but people were leaving, and he came out in a towel and just started shooting the shit w/ people.

Also met New Jack in a bar once after the show, and Balls in the hotel lobby that was connected to it.
