Official Raw Thread 03/20/06-SNME Fallout
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/tou.../29062/2333264
Saturday Night Fever March 20, 2006 The RAW Superstars will be sorting out the fallout of Saturday Night’s Main Event when Monday Night RAW heads to Memphis, Tenn. The big question heading into Saturday Night's Main Event was whether or not Triple H and WWE Champion John Cena could coexist as a tag team. Things started out smoothly enough, but before long things spiraled out of control and the WrestleMania opponents clashed. Triple H broke up a Cena pinfall attempt and Pedigreed him, trying to give SmackDown the win. But The Champ persevered, and after the SmackDown team battled with each other, Cena rolled up Randy Orton for the win. What will these two have to say after such an explosive encounter? Also at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Shawn Michaels went one on one with Mr. McMahon's son, Shane, in a Street Fight. This was one of the most brutal matches in recent memory and saw both men putting their bodies on the line. It looked like HBK had things going his way, but Mr. McMahon screwed the Showstopper and called for the bell immediately after Shane locked in a Sharpshooter. How will HBK react after being screwed at Saturday Night's Main Event? Last week on RAW, Shelton Benjamin blamed Ric Flair for his momma's hospitalization. And after Shelton rolled up Rob Van Dam in an Intercontinental Championship Match, RVD blamed Flair for his loss. This week all three will do battle in an Intercontinental Triple Threat Match. Shelton will enter with the gold, but will he walk away with it as well? And Edge belittled Mick Foley on the Cutting Edge at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Hardcore Legend responded and the results were...well...hardcore. After Foley's use of thumb tacks backfired on him, he almost seemed happy, and chased Edge up the ramp and gave him a con-chair-to on the stage. What direction will this hardcore rivalry take on RAW? Find out all this and more next Monday night at 9/8 CT on the USA Network. |
*Triple H Pedigrees Cena*
*POP* *Triple H calls Cena a bleeped swear* *POP* *Triple H walks off looking pissed as Cena gets up* *BOOS* |
How about this for a crazy idea to build last minute interest in WrestleMania?
CENA + HHH = DOUBLE TURN! Ain't gonna happen but it would switch things up, big style. |
Anyway I think the fans have already done that by themselves.
|
The way I see it is that they HAVE to do the double turn at Mania. Let's face it, Triple H is going to get the biggest pop he's gotten in a LONG time when he wins, and Cena is probably going to get the most heat he's gotten ever when he almost beats Hunter (there are obviously going to be some close counts), so it's only natural to have Cena attack Hunter after the match.
|
I'm just happy that HHH has been proven wrong in his theory that he is such a great heel, he can get ANYONE over as a face when they're against him.
I'd love it if he got a massive face pop at WM22, just to see his reaction. I'd love it even MORE if WWE puts their match on last, and the crowd are absolutely silent, bar occasional chants of "BORING!", and start to leave before the match finishes, at which point the remaining fans continue the silence or stand up in unison and leave without making a sound. That would put Trips in his place. |
*Triple H's music starts*
*HUGE POP* Triple H: :wtf: :$ :o :'( *Runs to the back crying* |
It's a so-called "supershow" tonight. Which SmackDown superstar are we going to see interfere then? Not Orton again, surely??
|
How about the next Hall of Fame inductee? I think it's pretty much widely regarded that the remaining spots will go to the Blackjacks and Tony Atlas, no?
I was surprised not to see Steamboat or DiBiase inducted. Maybe next year. |
Do you think hennig might get inducted this year?
|
I'd love to see Mr. Perfect inducted but I doubt it will happen this year.
How many slots are left? I'm assuming two, because there are two episodes of Raw remaining before the ceremony. That would mean the Blackjacks and Atlas are the only ones left to be announced. |
less focus on McMahon-Michaels tonight, more Trips-Cena maybe?
you know, the better fued on the show? |
I hope tonight is good.
|
nope. it's gonna be another McMahon filled evening =/

|
Funny, Vince loves shane now...and they had a steet fight at WM 17
|
Do we really need this recap??
|
this promo is humiliating =/
|
I really wanted to see Shawn Michaels vs. Kenny of The Spirit Squad in a "Sharpshooter Match" tonight, where the winner is the first man to lock in the Sharpshooter on his opponent. I would have marked out if Kenny came out in black & pink Squad attire, and won the match with some heel interference.
Instead we will get more predictable "you're life is going to be a living Hell" crap. |
How did I know the Shawn screwed Shawn line would be said
