Hahaha, Orton was actually pretty hilarious tonight. (SPOILERS)
 

The RKO to Rey as he springboards off the top rope was SIIIIIIIIIIIIICK. If anyone can capture that as an animated .GIF, that'd be AWESOME.

Then at the end, causing trouble between Rey and Angle... his cocky asshole mannerisms were pretty golden. This played out a LOT better than on paper. When I'd read the spoilers, I expected something pretty routine, but it worked out pretty well.

I agree. That shit was the best I've seen Orton in a while.

Orton's seemingly sprung to life in the role. He will be the WWE's best heel in the future when it comes to getting his ass kicked. He will be able to both win and lose effectively (something a main event guy needs), which will make him a credible title holder, and a guy who can put newer guys over.

Hah, I've actually been waiting for him to pull that off on Mysterio ever since he wrestled him back in September. I remember thinking "He's going to beat him by RKOing him off the West Coast Pop attempt." And lo and behold, SmackDown! delivered last night.

I love when Orton sets up for the RKO and like overplays it so much. He like sneaks around on the mat and shit waiting to hit it.

Yeah. He's almost Rock/Flair like with that and his selling. It's why I really want to see him pushed as a straight HEEL without the cowardice, and not this cheap heat crap.
