Looks like it shouldn't be too bad. Hopefully, it'll be in the same league as the original, despite not having George Romero on board.

I'm just hoping it's good on it's own right, I have no expectations for it to be anywhere near the quality of the originial. Romero's original version is a classic and this is not the same type of remake as Savini's Night of the Living Dead remake, seeing as how at least with Savini's Romero was invovled and Savini had distinct ties with the original.

I hear ya. Still, from what I've seen, the new director is trying to stay pretty faithful to the original (other than having "fast" zombies) Anyways, I'm going to try and stay optimistic until I see something to make me think otherwise.

I saw the trailer about a week ago and I thought it looked good, but most trailers do. Hopefully it'll be as good as the original and I hope that they don't change the ending so it's all happy and stuff.
