Wrestling Gimmics
 

Theres one thing thats missing these days in wrestling and thats gimmics, almost all wrestlers in the old days had gimmics...Untertaker, Hogan, Million dollar man, Big boss man, Razor Ramon etc etc. These days there isent many around, theres only a selected few that stand out these days like John Cena and Kane..maybe its just me but i prefered it when there was gimmics around, it seemed to make wrestling better...maybe thats why i prefer the old skool wrestling days when the hart foudation and stuff like that was around. These days its just all about whos bigger and who is using the most steroids to look like a complete toole o tool. I say bring back the old says :)

The gimmicks did indeed make the show even more entertaining.

With that being said,at the time you had writers who knew how
to make all (or at least most) of the gimmicks work.Many of those
gimmicks could be used today and would still be over and work,if
used properly.

The problem is,WWE has came up with even more cartoony
gimmicks,and has ran the idea of "gimmicks" into total lame-
ness.I do agree with you,the gimmicks were more entertaining
back then,and the wrestling (in ring performance) was much
more entertaining as well.
