When he turned on the Horsemen.

redoneja 04-10-2006 01:23 AM

When he turned on Flair and Heenan and accepted Macho Man's offer to be his partner. I mark out every time I see that and him coming out as a face at Survivor Series 1992.

Mr. Perfect

It think it was the 1993 match with Bret & Perfect for the IC title. It was interesting to note on the Bret Hart DVD that Hennig actually had back problems, but, insisted on working the match out of pure respect for Bret Hart. That's class. Something that set Hennig apart from 95% of his co-workers.....

RIP "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig. Maybe he'll be inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame soon....

His turning on The Horsemen to join the nWo, I hated him for it, great heel stuff.

Stickman 04-10-2006 02:46 AM

His Perfect Promos, the towel toss, the gum slap that I always do yet not quite perfect. You know, in the ring the guy was perfect. Very rarly did I see him fuck up.

That was the 91 match. Perfect was almost crippled and went out there to work anyways. And Bret swears that he and Perfect had many many better matches, which for me is hard to believe.

His music was perfect for him. I love that theme.

TapOut 04-10-2006 04:50 AM

When they showed the skits of him making half court shots, and my all-time favorite Perfect moment when he threw the football, ran to the goal line and caught his own pass.

Gone Mad 04-10-2006 05:12 AM

Anything he did, to be honest, was great. The announcing, the Perfect promos, and the matches (Bret/Hennig were always classics) were yes, indeed... PERFECT. I was a big fan and marked out for his WWE return a couple years ago, too bad the Brock incident kinda slowed everything down for him.

Def. one, if not, the best of the guys who never got to win the big one.

I loved everything about Mr. Perfect...I had taped the Prime Time Wrestling when he turned on Heenan and joined Macho for the Survivor Series match...I watched that over and over because how pumped I was he was going to be wrestling again...Noone could have played a better 'Mr Perfect'. He has the skills, the charisma, and the cockiness to do it

I honestly think their match from KOTR 1993 is just as good, if not, better.

Stickman 04-10-2006 12:36 PM

I forgot about him as announcer. He was one of the best behind the mic and he doesnt' get enough credit for that.

:y:

also his match with Bret at Summerslam 1991. that is one of the top 3 matches in wrestling history.

Damn he was the man :(

Karlsberg 04-10-2006 01:12 PM

Curt was pure greatness in the ring and on the mic. One of my favourites has to be his match with Flair on raw in 93, I wish WWE would do a best of DVD soon.

mrslackalack 04-10-2006 01:20 PM

A Perfect DVD would be great considering they can use footage from WWE, WCW, and AWA on it. Hopefully he will be on the AWA DVD that is slated for Aug.

John la Rock 04-10-2006 01:57 PM

Mr. Perfect is the best wrestler to never win the World Title.

He might have not held it in WCW or WWE but he was the AWA world champ for a year.
