Hey guys just got back from the Savvis Center here in St. Louis and wanted to pass on the results of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

Booker T defeated Matt Hardy (Lots of Hardy chants) when Sharmell interfered and Booker low-blowed Hardy then hit the Axe kick.

There were allot of Pirate Birchill and Regal segemnts through SmackDown until their match, and Regal was forced to try on different costumes.

Paul London defeated Joey Mercury via pin fall by a surprise roll up.

The Great Khali beat Funaki.

Beniot and Lashley defeated Orlando Jordan and Finley when (something happened but I didn't get to watch the whole match I was trying to get food but when I came back Beniot and Finley were gone) Lashley hit the Dominator on OJ for the pin fall.

Gemini defeated Birchill and Regal when Birchill refused to let Regal tag him in, then walked away from the ring. Genini hit their finisher for the pin fall.

Jillian hall then set up a Great American Celebration for JBL to honor him being champ. Well the champ came out to balloons falling all around to the beat of some really famous high school band. He then fired Jillian and kicked the band to the back. Then said he would challenge for the World Title, then Angle came out and defended Rey then said he would defeat Rey next week in a rematch for the world title. Then Rey came out and they all eventually brawled with Angle and Rey teaming up on JBL.

Also on a side note, the dark match for RAW was Undertaker vs. John Cena and Undertaker was beating Cena then The Great Khali came in and totally destroyed Taker.

I was there too. If I knew you were gonna be there I would have tried to meet up with you, Dave.

Pay attention to the MNM match. When Melina screamed, my fiancee and I screamed back. Hopefully we were loud enough that you could hear us on TV.

JBL vs. Rey for the World Title...just think of how many Megit Mexican jokes JBL can come up with. :drool:

How does letting Singh destroy Funaki make him more credible? We know he's a big bastard, why not let him squash more normal sized people.

Funaki and Scotty are the two guys that always get jobbed out to the new unstoppable monster guy, The WWE are just fans of formula.

JBL is the only guy that can stop rey getting booed on smackdown, if you want rey as a face champ get him away from angle

How come JBL fired Jillian? She coming to RAW?

In refusing to let Regal tag him in, did Burchill turn heel, or just taunt Regal, since that's not standard face procedure. :lol:

I would assume that as Regal has to dress up till Birchill loses. If Birchill isn't in the ring, he can't lose. Thats how I see it. Lets hear it for the English wrestlers.:shifty:

It's obvious, if Regal tagged out, Regal would try to make Birchill lose.

I'm not hearing many positive things regarding Khali's debut match.

Well, let's take a look at the guy, shall we? His finishing move is apparently that karate chop to the head he does, and when he talks I literally hear "Blah blah blah blah blah". So it's pretty obvious that the WWE thinks he's a better in ring performer and 10 times as charismatic than other guys on the roster who you or I might think deserve that camera time (Chris Benoit). After his Taker feud, they'll put him in a feud with Rey for the title just because some brainless booker thinks we have never seen a David/Goliath match before.

To be honest with you, though. I'd love to see Stone Cold come back one night right as Khali is doing another incoherent "promo", grab a beer and a mic, stare him down long and hard, getting right in his face before suddenly snapping out of it with a big "What?"
