Hm..Charlie Haas..

Does anyone think that WWE might've possibly signed him just to job him out and bury him, and then let him go to TNA?

Xero 04-21-2006 12:32 PM

WWE? NEVER!

Seriously, I doubt it.

I'd like to see him eventually start a stable with Shelton again. They don't need to tag all the time, but I think a stable with Shelton, Haas, and Lashley (trade him to RAW) like a Team Angle, but with no real clear leader would work.

Also, may as well throw in Doug Basham, Benoit's wrestling equal. :shifty:

loopydate 04-21-2006 12:33 PM

Nah. He's from Oklahoma. JR has a soft spot for him. He was only released the first time because he had the audacity to actually go on his honeymoon (GASP!).

Jaton 04-21-2006 12:34 PM

I hope you guys are right, I like Haas. I was pissed when I found out he got fired. Then again, I hate Jackie. She's giving me more reason to not watch TNA.

Kane Knight 04-21-2006 12:49 PM

Wow. This is only like the 10th time it's been suggested...

CharismaInjection 04-21-2006 01:20 PM

Maybe. But they did have him defeat the Intercontinental champion in his first match. We'll just have to see where he goes...

FourFifty 04-21-2006 02:44 PM

I totally marked out when I heard his theme music. The only problem is the people who I was watching RAW with were only casual fans, and they had no clue why I was so excited.

Not to mention he really is a HAAS.

Xero 04-21-2006 02:56 PM

A good majority of the fans there knew who he was.

I was shocked.

The end.

Why would he go over shelton then?

Who really beat Shelton?

Shelton beat Shelton.

How did it go down?

He stopped to try and use yet another one of RVD's signature moves, and it cost him the match. He lost to hubris, with a bitchslap from Charlie. The match was never about Charlie, and it wasn't his victory as much as it was Shelton's loss. So it's hard to think of it as "Haas going over."

Joesgonnakillyou 04-21-2006 08:29 PM

I can see them doing it, but i hope not. Haas is an asset, they need to flesh out the raw mid-card with people who, you know, have talent.

Eunos 04-21-2006 09:22 PM

Haas should never have been released in the first place.

Im glad his back and on Raw.

Favre4Ever 04-22-2006 01:50 AM

I hope they throw Haas into the IC title hunt and dont just have Shelton smash him up next week.

I think releasing him has actually been the best thing possible for him, he looks a lot better now and has more charisma. He's obviously learnt a lot in past 9 months that he didnt know before i would've thought, so yeah you could argue its the best thing they could've done.(even though Vince Mcmahon is an asshole for doing it when he did)

The One 04-22-2006 03:11 AM

Charlie Haas + Charisma Injection = Alright in my book! :y: :)

St. Jimmy 04-22-2006 04:18 AM

Hass and Burchill would be a good team... <_< what?

Wouldn't that just make him Shelton Benjamin? ;)

No that's...

Charlie Haas + Charisma Injection + Sloppy at times + falling = Shelton Benjamin

Based off of RAW this week (and this is only one week since he's been back) I would say Haas > Benjamin

Kane Knight 04-22-2006 02:09 PM

Haas was always better than Benjamin.

The One 04-22-2006 02:51 PM

I agree...I never really liked either of them...now I kind of like Haas...guess that makes him better. :p

He wanted to go to TNA. They didn't want him.

Mr. Nerfect 04-22-2006 07:20 PM

Are you sure TNA didn't want Haas? I find that hard to believe. I always assumed that Haas didn't go to TNA because he wanted another chance with the WWE.

Anyway, I don't think the WWE has any World Title pushes planned for Charlie Haas, but I don't think they're going to job him out, either. I'm expecting him to be a solid mid-carder. The WWE has been pretty forgetful of why they hate guys in the past, I can see them very easily forgetting that Haas spoke out against creative if he continus to pull out the performances he did last week.

McLegend 04-22-2006 08:47 PM

Rob is right. TNA was never interested in Hass. TNA however was interested in Jamie Noble then that's why WWE came out with the sign anyone TNA is interest in policy.

I can't see why TNA would want Haas. He's a fine mat wrestler, but he's not their style.

Hired Hitman 04-23-2006 03:49 AM

I'd love to see a Haas/Benjamin IC Title Fued.

.44 Magdalene 04-23-2006 11:32 PM

Haas is from Oklahoma?

'Cuz holy shit, I didn't think we had anything good wrestling-wise to our name.

Hey...we have a musical.

Which is pretty bad ass, I must say.

I'd like to see you get your own musical.

Xerzes 04-24-2006 02:26 AM

Yes, but in the musical you weren't even a state yet, so screw you.

Ha!

It's easy to make a play about a state, since you don't have to show the state or anything. But we get, like, movies filmed here.

Besides, Vermont's all about homosexuality. We MADE them plays. :p
