Who is the Greatest Band?
 

I had an idea the other day, sort of copying something done a while ago. So I have written 84 bands (mostly older rock bands) on paper and put each one into a hat. I am going to randomly draw out two bands, those two bands will face and you decide which band is better, and then the next two bands, etc. I will post all the matches and then wait a week or so, for everyone to have their say. I will then post the results and the next weeks matchups. If you don't undertsand I will give you an example:

Round 1:
U2 vs Air Supply
Pink Floyd vs Backstreet Boys
etc.

Then you will post who you think is better. Whichever band has more votes after the week, will advance to the next round.
Do you guys like the idea, or has it been done too many times before?

If you wanna set it up I'll still vote.

If it's been done before I might do something new, like have certain styles Rock, Metal, Pop. And see what bands are the best for each music style. Or has that been done before aswell.

Well I will start with Metal, propably this week asap. I don't know alot of Metal bands so I need to research a bit, and laos how many bands do you think per style? 20?

However many you can fit. 16 is better than 20 because it eliminates better.
