The beginning of the revival of ECW.

As of the end of meetings today, Vince McMahon decided that ECW would take the place of Velocity.

In other words, the show would be taped prior to Smackdown every Tuesday and until a new time slot is secured in the U.S., would remain an internet property show. Velocity, at least for the present, would cease to exist. Negotiations are going on to attempt to get it on U.S. television.

Why Velocity? I actually like Velocity, as opposed to Heat which I rarely watch.

yeah i saw this on wwe.com a few minutes ago...
and yeah velocity owns heat but if ECW is gonna take over velocity till it gets on U.S television will that mean that Velocity will be back after they get a deal or will all the velocity superstars get released and/or work for ECW?

Dayton did host Heatwave 98, whish is considered one of ECW's best ppvs.

Velocity slot or not, I'm still gonna try to catch this new version of ECW. I give everything a chance.

Hell, I even watch TNA once a month or so to see if it's improved.

No. I really do believe that Bubba and Devon have received the last check they will ever have from McMahon.

I'm sure the Dudley's will return one day to the WWE. Same with Chrisitan.
