If the Canucks don't catch the Avs (and the way the Avs are playing, it will be VERY tough.....especially when you consider the players they have, which means they will only get MORE dangerous as the season draws closer to an end), they risk playing a strong team such as the St. Louis Blues or the peaking Dallas Stars (as the 4th seeds).

I don't care if the canucks don't finish 1st. JUST DON'T FINISH 4TH!

Speaking of the Rangers, are a part of me does hope that they actually make the playoffs. If these guys get their sh</>it together, they can EASILY be a dark horse team come playoff time. I'd love to see the Rangers (8th seed) up-end the Leafs in the 1st round. Hopefully - the Rangers start playing real well real soon.

I wonder if Detroit will ship em' Cujo or Hasek around the trade deadline.

btw Toronto beat Ottawa on sturday, and according to heymans theory, that was their biggest game of the season. lol at the canucks losing to the rangers

Every team loses to teams it should beat.

I'd rather them lose to a East team, than a west team who they are try to catch in the standings/A west team trying to catch them in the standings.

And Gertner, I think you should be more worried about the 3 Leaf losses to the Flyers, than the 2 victories over the Canucks. As the Leafs stand a lot greater of a chance seeing the Flyers in the playoffs than they do the Canucks.
