Blood At Backlash

- The Commission for the state of Kentucky is prepared to issue eight or nine violations for the use of blood at the Backlash PPV. Prior to the event, the WWE was warned against the use of blood, but of course, simply ignored the warning.

- Violators of the juicing rule are subject to fines, and in extreme cases, the promoter or promotion could lose their license in the state. Participants that violate the rule are also subject to a fine. Since blood was used in a few of the matches, those that participated in the match are subject to a violation.

- Additionally, Ohio Valley Wrestling was recently hit with a violation for using a non-licensed wrestler. In this case, the promotion and the participant were fined separately.

I hope whoever bladed isn't fined, more then likely, they had no idea about the warnings WWE received.

The Kentucky people will protest against it and the city will lift the ban to allow WWE events to take place there... because everybody wants to be cool.

I live in KY and KY is big WWE fans and only UK and UL b-ball the Ky Derby and NASCAR might be bigger here than WWE. If they banned WWE from coming to venues like Freedom Hall and Rupp Arena and Diddle Arena it would be a huge loss as Rupp and Freedom usually packs 20 thousand plus for WWE events.

They probably will be fined.

Also, since this isn't the first time, I'm hard-pressed to feel sorry for them if they do. "I didn't know any better" only works the second time around if they were kept in the dark the previous times too...Highly unlikely.

That being said, I think it's a dumb law.

Wasn't Eddie one of the uys who got in trouble last time?

I doubt they'll rescind their "license" or anything like that.

It's kind of like a speeding ticket: You don't put speed traps where speeding's most dangerous; you put them where most people speed, because it's easier money.

You fine WWE when they do it; it means money. You bar them; it means losing money.
