The Return.....

DX. With all the crotch chops between HBK & HHH, it's becoming more apparent that DX will be returning. Some rumors have even placed the return @ WWE Vengeance[next RAW PPV].

My question, is this: DX: For or against?

Personally, I always thought DX was entertaining and was the best of the stables. I'm just wonderin who will be a part of this new DX. And for God's sake, I hope X-Pac isn't an option.........:nono: :nono:

McLegend 05-03-2006 06:48 PM

It will be awsome when it happens, and everyone will be going crazy even the naysayers will be.

Then eventually we all relize that they are 40 year old's acting like dengerates, and it will become weird.

Kane Knight 05-03-2006 07:01 PM

Do we have a 100th topic prize?

The One 05-03-2006 07:05 PM

They get their pick...

Oh and I am pretty sure everyone here knows my opinion of bringing stables back...

CYCLOPTERSAURUS 05-03-2006 07:17 PM

I want one of those bananas.

Shit, they were doing it at 30+. What difference does it make? I don't think Michaels will do it. If he does, he'll pray for every crotch-chop.

Xero 05-03-2006 07:28 PM

It'll be a mark-out-moment no doubt, but it never seems to work out.

After the first few shows it'll wear off and Michaels will probably start to say no to anything DX HBK worthy.

DX was 10 years ago it makes a huge difference.

Blitz 05-03-2006 07:43 PM

If it means the return of X Pac, I am squarely against it.

Bad Company 05-03-2006 07:45 PM

Bring back Scott Hall and put him in DX.

Ninti the Mad 05-03-2006 08:16 PM

It would be nice to see a more "elite" approach to DX.

Azriel 05-03-2006 10:43 PM

Kinda DX/Evolution hybrid?

Good question though. Does Michaels have to renounce God if he joins evolution?

Loose Cannon 05-03-2006 11:13 PM

Orton should be a member of DX. His backstage antics are DX material.

Michaels could always blast God for letting him down at Backlash.:shifty:

HBK: Hey! Randy! Whacha up to?

Randy: Well, heh, I jus-

Woman screaming: OH MY GOD! IS THAT POOP!?

HBK:

Woman: BAD CHLOE! BAD!

*Slapping sounds and dog yelps are heard*

Randy and HBK:  :wtf: :shifty:

Come on, they haven't done a poop joke with Chloe yet...

Note: I in no way condone abuse of animals or in some cases the writing team.

Juan 05-03-2006 11:30 PM

i'm guessing that due to both HHH and HBK "disobeying" Mr. McMahon on RAW that he's gonna make them team up at the PPV and make them face him and Shane or something.

Or perhaps this could be the beginning of an old vs young angle.

It wouldnt be a DX per se but just guys who have been in the business for such a long time trying to retain themselves at the top.

weather vane 05-03-2006 11:43 PM

I'm all for anything right now. With ECW and DX coming back wrestling may get good again. I can hardly stand to watch it anymore.

Pinnacle Charisma 05-04-2006 01:22 AM

Ill mark out if it happens and it might be good for a few weeks but then it will get stale. On the upside Im all up for more stables but I just wish the wwe could think of original ideas instead of rehashing old ones.

JTB31 05-04-2006 01:28 AM

I think they should just stick with the two of them and add a Diva.I vote for Trish!

We haven't seen Trish show off her sexy side for quite awhile now.And she is one of the very few Diva's that has the Charisma to be part of an out of control breaking all kinds of rules stable.

Favre4Ever 05-04-2006 02:03 AM

I can't help but be excited, what with the return of ECW coming and a possible DX return and all, but I just know this is all going to be fucked up somehow. I hope they don't NWO this.

Boondock Saint 05-04-2006 02:33 AM

I'll mark out but then it'll suck somehow.

Mr. Nerfect 05-04-2006 03:58 AM

I actually see this being a kind of "interpromotional" stable. Next week, Triple H is gettng yelled at by Vince McMahon, who then orders The Spirit Squad to attack Triple H. Shawn Michaels runs down for the save, which doesn't seem to make much sense, but the fans will love it.

HBK says the only reason he helped Triple H was because they have a common enemy. Michaels says he realises one man cannot take Vince down, so it might take a group of men. A group of...degenerates. HBK tells Vince that if he is not going to forget 1997, then maybe Shawn & Hunter shouldn't forget 1997. Basically they reform D-Generation X, not because they are friends again, but because they have an enemy who is holding the past against them and won't let it go. Vince wants to take them to the past, they survive like they did in the past.

Vince McMahon, being a sly dog, decides to break this early reunion of megapowers off, by banishing Shawn Michaels to SmackDown!. Vince McMahon signs The Spirit Squad vs. DX for later that night. McMahon challenges Helmsley to bring his entire army and this will be the first battle of the war, assuming Triple H survives that night. Triple H, realising he is now alone in DX, doesn't try to recruit members, but instead takes The SS on alone, claiming he doesn't need the help of Michaels or anyone else.

It is a mugging, with The Spirit Squad decimating Triple H. They all pile on top of Triple H after a Kenny Leg Drop. Jim Ross begs Triple H to get allies in his fight against Vince.

On SmackDown!, Shawn Michaels continues DX by calling it "DX Blue" or something like that. He recruits his students, Paul London & Brian Kendrick, as well as their valet, Jillian Hall.

On RAW, Triple H makes an offer to Matt Striker to join DX Red. I really think Striker would be an excellent fit to the stable. For some reason I can just seem him standing beside Triple H cracking out a line like "I haven't had so much action since I was a teacher and your daughters...and sons, offered to sleep with me. Believe me, they did offer.". Stick Trish Stratus, Victoria or Trinity, or someone, with them. For some reason, I can see Rob Conway hitching a DX ride as well.

Impeccable 05-04-2006 04:08 AM

Totally against a DX return.

As I am against a return of;

nWo
Horsemen
Nation Of Domination
JOB squad
ECW
The Oddities
WCW
X-Factor
Evolution

And any other stable. It will always shit on the legacy of what fans like to look back on. Take the nWo for example. Their return was short lived and tarnished the legend!!! (Not that X-Factor has a legacy to shit on...I just don't want to see three talentless goons running around together again)

Sure, my signature has a picture of DX, but that is purely nostalgia. Nothing else.

And Randy Orton should not be in a stable.

He should be on his own, as he has been for about two years now.

Thechampishere! 05-04-2006 05:01 AM

DX Returning will be the downfall of the king of kings.
It'll ruin him ,he'll either feud or rival with them.
Road dogg was the true dx Member ,he stayed loyal until x-pac turned heel and joined that gay stable with albert ,credible .

You uhh ,considered a Job with wwe editorial?

ddpBANG 05-04-2006 05:58 AM

He's too good a writer. WWE would never go for it.

Well, you do get points for not making Basham Champion, but seriously. You're talking about two jobber stables with DX names. Why not just have X-Pac and Kane reunite with the name?

For that matter, why not actually air one of Vince's 30 minute bowel movements from the bowl's perspective?

Londoner 05-04-2006 09:26 AM

The thing is with bringing DX back is, there's no one to put in the stable and obviously it wouldnt make sense getting HHH/HBK back together. The only way i could see DX coming back is if they make it a war between DX/ECW, have DX invading ECW shows and stuff like that. Then have ECW set up a stable of their own to take on DX.That could be interesting, but i am starting to wonder about HBK/HHH doing the old DX stuff.
