Your favorite 'host' segments

The Flower Shop, Piper's Pit, The Barber Shop, The Funeral Parlor, whatever segment Brother Love had, Carlito's Cabana, The Cutting Edge, etc...

....what are your favorite host segments? I was going to make this a poll, but chances are better than not that I've forgotten a few. Overall, I guess Piper's Pit was the most entertaining as a whole, but my favorite host segment moment still has to be The Rockers break up on The Barber Shop.

Discuss.

Pretty much in total agreement with you, however I did enjoy the HeartBreak Hotel too.

Easily Piper's Pit.

Anybody Thrilla 05-05-2006 01:07 PM

AHHHHH, I knew I'd forget a big one.

Anybody Thrilla 05-05-2006 01:08 PM

And what was the name of Brother Love's segment? Did it have one?

HeartBreakMan2k 05-05-2006 01:09 PM

I thought it was just always called "The Brother Love Show"

Anybody Thrilla 05-05-2006 01:21 PM

Well that would be novel, wouldn't it?

Jericho's Highlight Reel was fun too...but only because that was basically the only way he could squeeze in some TV time. :(

SO am i the only one who liked the dark errie things jake the snake would say on his snake pit? As a kid, that part of the show always shook me up and scared me a bit, but it was also pretty good in its own right.

Anybody Thrilla 05-05-2006 05:53 PM

For some reason, I thought the Snake Pit was a figment of my imagination. Good to know it existed, though.

Reo's Round-up

Or maybe not.

The King's Court was pretty good in it's earlier days, circa 1993/94.

I don't know if it really counts or not, but the sit-down Jim Ross/Mankind interviews were brilliantly executed and are still some of the best done WWF/E segments ever done.

The Highlight Reel for sure. Jericho brought that years old formula out of the trash, only to be copied by a nostalgic Roddy Piper, Carlito, and Edge. Jericho's original Highlight Reel as a cocky heel was awesome.

The Highlight Reel

Loose Cannon 05-06-2006 01:04 AM

you had The Snake Pit, The Body Shop, Funks BBQ just to name some other old ones.

The best ever was Pipers Pit hands down. could never be touched.

My fav segment ever happened on the Flower Shop when Piper took a baseball bat and basically destroyed the set. Pretty awesome.

KillerWolf 05-06-2006 06:30 AM

LOD in the Funeral Parlor. i still remember it pretty much word for word.
