Beautiful but brief
Have you ever been playing a really awesome game, only to be blindsided by the sudden roll of the credits or a final cinematic, even though it feels like you've only played the game for all of two hours? I hate it. The following games were incredibly awesome for myriad reasons, but they all felt like they were over far too quickly:
Add your own. |
I hear you on Tomb Raider Legend. First Tomb Raider game I ever played. It was fun, but yeah, that ending was mad abrupt.
|
Hitman:Contracts- Yup, 12 missions that you play through the first time, and play blindfolded the second.
Ultimate Spider-Man-I agree with you mitch. There should have been much more to that game. |
almost every game i play nowadays is too short
it seems the average length of a game now is 20 hours, which is so damn short... at least in my experience |
Yeah, I bashed out Tomb Raider in a little over 9 hours. I haven't gotten every reward in the levels and stuff though, so there's still replayability. Plus, it's the first Tomb Raider game in a decade to actually feel fun.

Spiderman 2 was pretty short.
Same with Day of Reckoning 2. |
Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy in the US), god that was such an amazing game but so short. I completed it in just over 6 hours.
Lego Star Wars didn't take long to complete either :'( |
I didn't play any of the game here. But I rarely get that feeling. I try to squeeze as much video game I can in a week, but with work and everything, a 20 hours game takes a month or so to complete, so I can't say it feels short.

I beat Mario and Luigi, partners in time in like 5 days in 21 hours :(
