Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium

Do yourself a favor. Spend the $12. It kicks so much ass.

weather vane 05-10-2006 02:07 AM

I shall download it instead.

el fregadero 05-10-2006 02:09 AM

I agree with David. It's 28 songs people. 28 Chili Peppers songs. It is splendid.

road doggy dogg 05-10-2006 02:37 AM

Yeah holy shit. I was buying my moniter at Best Buy today and they had it for fucking 16 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking amazing deal, awesome music to boot.

Cuzziebro 05-10-2006 02:52 AM

I have it. I reckon it is their best album by far. I recommend spending the $$ to get it.

The Greater Power 05-10-2006 01:14 PM

Does it sound similar to any of their other CDs?

Californication is one of my favorite CDs EVER.

I'm probably gonna buy this along with the Thursday and Taking Back Sunday CD

El Vaquero de Infierno 05-10-2006 04:26 PM

Most people I know who have bought the album, or downloaded it, say it is aload of crap, especially the second disc.

But blah, ain't heard it myself.

FakeLaser 05-10-2006 04:58 PM

I'm curious about it. Probably gonna download it.

Scratch that, gonna download it right now.

The Greater Power 05-10-2006 05:53 PM

The first disc (I'm only 11 songs in) is pretty fucking solid.

"Charlie" is probably my favorite.

It's like a mix of some funk and their By The Way CD. It's a lot better than By The Way IMO so far.

Looking for boobies. 05-12-2006 06:57 AM

"Make You Feel Better" on the second CD is one of those songs that I just wanna listen to over and over and over again.

The Greater Power 05-12-2006 12:11 PM

Yeah, that is def. my favorite song on the 2nd disc

Kane Knight 05-12-2006 12:19 PM

Wow. They really did go out of their way to look like Nuno Bettencourt.

Zen v.W.o. 05-13-2006 04:25 PM

I cant stand this band, never did. Overrated.

Does he have to rhyme every last fucking line?

And what's up with this recent bout of California worshipping?

el fregadero 05-13-2006 05:40 PM

lol Nirvana is in your avatar. So I guess you know what you're talking about when it comes to being overrated.

Activate defense shields.

el fregadero 05-13-2006 06:17 PM

I actually backed his credentials in the field of overratedness. Thought that was pretty clear.

Skippord 05-14-2006 04:59 AM

I dislike the RHCP except for Californication

Pinnacle Charisma 05-14-2006 06:49 AM

Yeah will prob buy it next week.

I always prefer to buy albums rather than download them. I only download songs that I like that I have no intention of buying the album

The Greater Power 05-14-2006 12:35 PM

^^ Same here. I hate burned CDs and do not own an Ipod. I just always enjoyed buying the CD

Londoner 05-14-2006 01:20 PM

Been hearing good things about RHCP's album, i like their latest single, thinking of buying it now.

When the Peppers make an album half as good as Nirvana's worst album, we'll debate that.

In the meantime, he can go on making tributes to bands like Nirvana in their recent video, among the other bands that defined their musical eras.:y:

redoneja 05-14-2006 07:55 PM

RHCP > Nirvana

Zelda 05-14-2006 11:29 PM

My friend made me listen to it yesterday and I liked it.

I download so I can try before I buy. I'm not dropping $15 or more on crap.

Other than that, if the album is no longer in print (like 345978654 metal bands out there) I d/l.

If an album is the goods, as soon as I have cash, I'm getting the cd.

If Nirvana inspires "him" to make good music than that's cool (even though the Peppers were around before Nirvana started, but that's beside the point I guess), I just like the music "he" makes more than the music Nirvana does. No argument really other than personal taste so yeah.

Word.

If they'd put up adequate samples of the ability to listen online, I'd probably download like 2% of what I do now.

Kane Knight 05-15-2006 10:25 AM

Oh wow. That was shit. Overrated though they may be, I'd rather listen to Nirvana...And this is from someone who agrees with the notion that the best thing to ever come out of Cobain's head with the Bullet. :D

Boomer 05-16-2006 04:59 PM

Kinda dissapointed with the ending to the second disk. I dunno what would have been better, but after that many songs I need a good closer, and Death of a Martian wasn't it. RHCP usually nails it right on the head with the closing song. Road Trippin' and Venice Queen are two of my RHCP favs.

wwe2222 05-16-2006 05:28 PM

ive only heard the single so far, but i am going to download the album...Ive always liked the chili peppers stuff....

Im sure it wont be the best, but ill enjoy listening to parts of it...i was surprised they would come out with a double disc now....

i never enjoyed nirvana much except for a couple songs...they just didnt do it for me

Bad Company 05-16-2006 06:33 PM

I like it.
And I like Nirvana.

Just blame Rick Rubin and his need to fill albums with filler.

Not that i've actually listened to the album, or anything, but that's his style.

Kapoutman 05-24-2006 12:28 AM

I liked the songs I heard from it.

OssMan 09-03-2006 03:31 AM

Wow what the fuck, the only reason people like this album is because it is by the red hot chili peppers. Not terrible but I don't see why people are jizzing themselves over this, if you want to hear good Red Hot Chili Peppers songs listen to Freaky Styley
