Wrestling nerds
Inspired by the May 19th thread.
We are like the Star Trek fans of sports/pseudo-sports. Think about it. A lot of us watch every week, even if it's shit. We dress up when we go to events and take signs. We write out pages of storylines and angles for fantasy purposes. We play games that can take that further. We complain, bitch and moan about inconsistencies. We have our own lingo. Anything else I'm sure I'm missing add here to this thread and discuss the topic at hand. |
You forgot the simplest one, we have our own term; Trekies are to Star Trek and Smarks are to Pro Wrestling.
Also, go read my response in the May 19th thread, you'll see while we may be just as nerdy, and at times maybe even more so, then Trekies, we have an much easier time of playing it off and actually comming across as fun. |
