Remember When Test got rehired?

Yeah, what the hell happened to that?

The One 05-23-2006 04:01 AM

He had some dark matches in March...and uh...that is a damn good question.

Bad Company 05-23-2006 04:05 AM

For someone who's buddy buddy with shane o mac, he hasn't done too well for himself. Maybe Triple H got where he is because he's the man, not because he's screwing the bosses daughter

SammyG 05-23-2006 05:59 AM

Andrew "Test" Martin was going to be brought on to the Raw brand with Jonathan Coachman as his manager, however, that idea was dropped.

Rammsteinmad 05-23-2006 06:35 AM

Test + The Coach = Ratings.

At first I got worried reading this thinking that they've let him go already.

Mr. Nerfect 05-23-2006 07:52 AM

A crazy thought went through my head prior to Judgment Day. I half-expected Test to cost Bobby Lashley the King of the Ring to Booker T, setting up a feud between Test and Lashley. Turns out they did a very similar thing to that, only with Finlay replacing Test.

RAW's mid-card is heating up. Shelton Benjamin vs. Charlie Haas should be happening soon. Hopefully we get Elijah Burke, Aaron Stevens and Harry Smith debuting soon. Add these men to Carlito, Chris Masters, Matt Striker, Rob Conway, Eugene & Johnny Nitro and low and behold, you have a mid-card. Throw in Test for good measure, you have an established mid-card. Almost enough for the European Championship to come back.

Mark Jindrak and Chuck Palumbo are yet to return, either. Last we saw those men, they were both RAW Superstars (didn't Jindrak get traded, but he never actually appeared?). Maybe a Natural Born Thrillers reunion? A feud with The Spirit Squad wouldn't be too bad.

Xero 05-23-2006 09:52 AM

Test needs to team up with Striker.

Unless Andrew has married/shagged Shane, I wouldn't say this is good evidence of anything. ;)

If he has, then...Well....

I was thinking the same thing. "Pop quiz, folks."

Xero 05-23-2006 10:37 AM

They should do a whole thing where Striker is trying to teach Eugene. They do skits in a classroom for a few weeks, then, on the last week, he says it's time for "The Test" and Test comes in and just wails on Eugene.

They could also build up to the Test, and then he takes it in the ring, allowing them to debut Test in the arena vs. in a pre-recorded skit.

Chuck Palumbo, Shannon Moore, Akio, and Test (verbally agreed) signed new contracts with WWE but I dont remember hearing Jindrak did. I heard he had a few dark matches a couple months ago and dark matches in OVW but did he sign a contract?

Rob 05-23-2006 04:47 PM

He is going to ECW.

Crippla 05-23-2006 04:57 PM

I never heard about that either but Im not sure Jindrak should be in ECW.

Rob 05-23-2006 05:35 PM

Right now, he is gonna be number 1 or 2 heel in ECW. Test, not Jindrak.

happylad 05-23-2006 06:10 PM

 ill be so happy if he gets his original music back

*test test test test test test test .. random gibberish *

was a classic entrence theme that was :D

That's really hard to picture.

I'm not doubting you, just...Wow.

Bad Company 05-23-2006 07:02 PM

Yeah, that is a terrible decision.

Rob 05-24-2006 02:27 PM

Who else do they have though? All the ECW guys will look like babyfaces at first so they need guys to work heel and obviously put over Van Dam while they build the company around him.

Innovator 05-24-2006 02:32 PM

Foley
Jindrak
Test
Kid Kash
Roadkill (if they want to turn him)
and the #1 heel of the brand, CM Punk

Please be more than a dream.

Rob 05-24-2006 02:35 PM

Foley can't work regular dates
Jindrak has the personality of a peanut
Kid Kash is a crusierweight and we all know about their record in WWE
Roadkill is going to Smackdown and not ECW
I'd imagine CM Punk is getting a shot but not early.

Crippla 05-24-2006 03:53 PM

I hate to say it but the way a lotta people post in these threads (not this particular one but a lot of them) about ECW, Theyre going to be disappointed because ECW isnt going to get everyone on their roster.

I agree their options are limited, but a midcarder who hasn't worked in ages, may well be forgotten, and was never hugely over (Unless I'm forgetting someone)...Just have trouble seeing this as a successful move.

Rob 05-24-2006 04:25 PM

I can't think of anyone at all though. Maybe they should try and sign someone from MMA like a Don Frye who has pro wrestling experience.

Knowing Vince, they'd be more likely to hire someone who had never wrestled.

Someone from MMA would probably be a good idea though, as it's taking over in terms of popularity, and any sort of crossover appeal might be a positive impact.

quit killing my dreams....

Anyways, I can see WWECW grabbing some ROH guys as well. Jimmy Yang is coming back, and I think he'd fit in well if they can get Tajiri back also. And if they want to get on my good side, they'd get Colt Cabana to see the comedic heel.

I'd be happier than a pig in shit if Punk interrupted Sandman's entrance.

RottingFreak 05-24-2006 06:49 PM

Didn't Test badmouth the WWE at one time? I believe it was about the Eddie Guerrero incident. I wonder what heat he got from that.

Didn't Joey Styles badmouth the WWE at one time? I believe it was about everything. I wonder what he he DIDN'T get from that...

Jimmy Yang is coming back but right now the plan is for him to go back on SmackDown but that could change and Tajiri will possibly make occasional appearances in ECW but will still be working in Japan so he wont be back full time.

Same as 99& of the current roster? Who hasn't badmouthed WWE? Except Cena and HHH...

Dorkchop 05-24-2006 08:42 PM

Maybe he's working off some ring rust?

Xero 05-24-2006 08:49 PM

So they're taking him for a TEST drive, so to speak?

:shifty:

Kane Knight 05-24-2006 08:50 PM

More like a field TEST.

Afterlife 05-25-2006 05:45 AM

They should team him with Rob Conway and call them "Con-Test".

Afterlife 05-25-2006 05:45 AM

Or perhaps not.

Kane Knight 05-25-2006 10:42 AM

MAybe he could join HBK and become a "Test of Faith."

Xero 05-25-2006 11:09 AM

He better stay away from Stephanie during her pregnancy, she could get awfully TESTY.

Kane Knight 05-25-2006 11:21 AM

And might end up hurting his TESTes.
