Drug tests...

I was watching RAW last night, and when Masters came on I noted that he lost a bit of muscle mass. That got me thinking, are local jobbers and guys they bring in for one night subject to the drug and steroid tests?

Crippla 05-23-2006 07:06 PM

I wouldnt think so unless they were part of a WWE development territory or something but I dont know.

Disturbed316 05-23-2006 07:08 PM

Probably less than the regulars but if WWE want to be serious on their drug policies then they should include them.

Kane Knight 05-23-2006 07:33 PM

I'd put money on "no."

Destor 05-24-2006 02:22 PM

Would you piss someone for 7 minuts worth of work?

Rob 05-24-2006 02:36 PM

Drug testing? Don't make me laugh~! This whole thing is a joke.

So does Kurt Angle. Big deal. Triple-H doesn't look smaller and not one single wrestler has been checked into rehab for pain killers yet thus indicating nobody in that company has a pain killer addiction. I'll believe Jesus Christ is coming to my house for tea and biscuits before I believe there are no issues with pain killers in WWE locker rooms.

Kane Knight 05-26-2006 02:09 PM

Especially considering the number of people who have died in pain killer-related or -worsened fashions.

Christ, I know how tempting it was to use painkillers when I fucked up my knee and nobody was asking me to do a job that required moonsaults or fall backwards over ring ropes.

I can just imagine how tempting it is for anyone who's expected to work through the pain of an injury, multiple injuries, etc. Not to mention wrestlers seem to have addictive personalities.

Rob 05-26-2006 04:05 PM

There are no drugs in pro wrestling though.

Kane Knight 05-26-2006 06:46 PM

That's why the 0 tolerance policy has been so effective.
