The heat for the title match should be incredible, and if RVD does finally win the title it can truly be one of the nicest moments in wrestling.

Has anyone heard anything else about the rumored Beniot/Malenko match? I know Malenko has had concerns about whether or not he would be in ring shape, and now it seems Beniot needs some time off.

I'm not looking forward to the tag match. Terry Funk should have retired a generation or two ago.

He definetely should have, but I think it'll be crazy good tag team match. I like the first two matches set, and I'm looking foward to what else is going to be on tap for the show.

Yeah, as much as I want RVD to win the belt, I just don't think this is gonna happen. It's the same bullshit formula with Cena, this is nothing different. Cena overcoming great adversity/odds and coming out on top...yada yada yada....

But getting to the heel turn. I don't really see how they could turn Cena heel by having him win at ONS. For all the WWE loyal fans (and in the minds of the writers), that would make Cena the fearless leader who went into enemy territory, overcame insurmountable odds...and brought the strap home to the good guys. I mean, RVD didn't exactly get alot of pops by jumping Cena on Raw. To turn Cena heel (in theory), that would mean having him do something that even the fanboy/fangirl's would have to boo...right? IMO, at this stage of the game...I don't think the writers are in control of Cena's character, so how could they possibly write a heel turn that would truly make Cena's character a 100% heel? Sure, they may 'write' his character a heel turn, but that doesn't necessarily mean the fans will turn as they are supposed too. The only way I see a true Cena heel turn is if he basically shits on his fanboy/girl audience, spits in their face with something along the lines of "Thanks for being stupid enough to think this wigger gimmick is real and thanks for making me rich by buying my merch and music CD. I don't even like rap.".......or something along those lines. But that isn't gonna happen because then people will stop buying his merchansise and WWE would take a hit in the pocket book.

The irony in all this is if WWE turns him heel and gives him a 'heel' attitude...that probably is gonna get him cheered by some people anyway.

It doesn't really matter though, because it's up to whatever "bad apples" decide to show up to the arena on any given night anyway...so WWE creative is fucked.

I can't see Cena retaining. It would be an absolute horrible move to deprive RVD of his moment again. But then again stranger things have happened in the WWE, and we know anything can happen.
