It's a decent list. I'm pretty sure it is done by votes over the internet.

I saw it on VH1 a week or so ago. It's a pretty good list, but I thought Pantera's "Walk" should have been higher than 18. And even more surprised to not see "Cemetary Gates" on the list.

el fregadero 05-26-2006 05:17 PM

I told you guys that RATM was metal.

Funky Fly 05-26-2006 05:58 PM

Shut the fuck up, RATM is not metal. :nono:

Some of those songs should have been higher. Some of those songs, WTF?

Overall, not the worst list I've seen.

Blitz 05-26-2006 06:41 PM

Dark Tranquillity-Monochromatic Stains is not on there, thus the list is woefully incomplete.

weather vane 05-26-2006 07:00 PM

RATM is metal.

FakeLaser 05-26-2006 07:05 PM

Freak on a Leash - Korn
#23

No.

According to VH1 they are. If Alice In Chains, Korn, and KISS are metal, surely RATM can be too.

Go learn what metal is.

The thing that pissed me off about all this shit on VH1 is that they sell it to you that Rock = Metal, Metal = Rock. They are not interchangeable.

You might as well try arguing that The Ataris aren't punk or Fuel isn't rock.

That's because ThereIn is better

Skippord 05-29-2006 06:23 PM

Ace of Spades should be higher

Smitty 05-29-2006 06:39 PM

ummm Slipknot is on this list...it is now null and void.

Skippord 05-29-2006 08:22 PM

Wait and Bleed is actually a very good song

Nothing really wrong with that list at all.

It's an "alright" song...it should not even be near the top 40 metal songs of all time.

Lara Emily 05-30-2006 12:03 AM

List is hit and miss, SOD, RATM, Korn and SLipknot have no business being on that list but it could have been a lot worse, reading the topic title I was prepared for a list full of Limp Bizkit and crap like that.

RP 05-30-2006 03:21 AM

Wait and Bleed has no business being on this list.

Certainly Slipknot's best, anyway.

Which still doesn't make it a song worthy of coming anywhere near a top anything list.

el fregadero 06-15-2006 04:06 AM

lol "Wait and Bleed" is regarded as Slipknot's best? That's pretty brutal.

I would like to have seen "Domination" or "Mouth for War" on there.
