I saw Dorkchop mention this, but the masked Kane has got to be The Undertaker. Why? Here are some reasons...

1. The arm that supposed to be exposed, is covered. Why? Well Taker has all of those tattoos and if it was exposed people would know right away.

2. The neck was covered = hiding the "Sara" tattoo on Takers neck.

3. The masked Kane did the Taker "head turn at the entrance ramp thing."

4. Who else would fit the role to be just about the same build and height as Kane?

5. The voice overs sound alot like Taker.

The guy was to small to be The Undertaker.

The voice over did sound a hell of a lot like the Undertaker though.

Taker knows how to do a chokeslam.

Taker is in better shape than that.

Kane's voice was the one over the mic.

There are other big men who could do it. Hell, remember when Kane was Fake Deisel? It's because he was in the same ballpark.

Face it, this is Paul Bearer's other lovechild, Kane's half-twin brother.

That's exactly why I know it's not Taker. I think it should be though. And have it revealed in a few weeks that it is actually undertaker. WWE always does a great job with the Kane vs Taker feud.

What the hell was up with that wig? Did masked Kane come from 1988?

*Paul comes out with masked Kane while unmasked Kane is in the ring*

I watched it a few times and it seemed like the current, unmasked Kane, just before the chokeslam, was saying "No Kane, dammit", which leads me to believe that they're going to put this Kane back under the mask.

My first two thoughts of who was playing the 'Old School Kane' tonight was either Goldust or Snitsky. But, it may have been just some big indy dude from Tacoma. Now, that's not to say that it's gonna be this guy who's revealed as the "Fake Kane" when WWE decides to show us who is really under the mask. This angle is getting interesting now. I'm wondering if we will see him evolve through Kane's different looks over the years in the next few weeks going into Vengeance?

I was thinking Test was under the mask. Ok so Innovator was but whatever.

Having watched it again on WWE.com, I'm half-convinced it's Test.

The entire outfit seemed wrong. The mask seemed wrong, the design seemed off, and so on...So the wig really fit, in that it didn't look like Kane.

But at least it wasn't a mullet.

I like the twin brother idea though. Maybe they'll call him Able.

He looked like one of those bad imposters you get at shitty indy shows. (Especially in the UK)

The way he looked, his catchphrase should be "Trick-or-Treat."

Funny you should mention that. When I saw him, I thought "how cool would it be if fans started heckling him with 'OOOOOOOOOOOOOH ABYSS!'?"

Either way this is the most confusing storyline I've seen in forever

Maybe this storyline will end with the masked Kane (supposedly the real Kane) destroying unmasked Kane (Glen Jacobs) and taking his place.

Except once Unmasked Kane is out of the picture, Glen Jacobs can take over the role of masked Kane once more.

So after reading that... Is Kane going to have to wear that retarted wig?

The identity of the masked Kane character that appeared on Raw last night is none other than Freakin' Deacon aka Deacon Deville aka Dorian Deville. His real name is Drew Hankinson.

Freakin' Deacon signed a WWE developmental deal in April 2005. He has been wrestling in Deep South Wrestling since September. WWE were thinking about calling him up late last year to feud with Kane, however, it was nixed.

Freakin' Deacon is 6'7" and 330 pounds.

Kane always wore a wig, I think. I saw photos of him back in 2000 out of character: his hair was about as short as Test's short hair.

BTW, keeping in mind that I've yet to see Raw or even just that segment with the masked Kane, but how could the fake one be Test? Test is at least 4 inches smaller than Kane and obviously no where near as muscular.

K, disregard the beginning of my post, but the Deacon guy isn't tall enough unless he wears huge lifts (and from my interpretation of this thread, the guy isn't in shaep).

Does anyone know where I can see pictures or videos of the fake Kane from last night? WWE has only got three pictures of Kane from last night, and their both during the match.

I can just imagine the conversation Kane and Kane were having at that moment.

Fake Kane: (Enters the ring) See this Crimson red shit I'm wearing?

Kane: Who the fuck are you you red looking....big tall.....mustard looking....

Fake Kane: Ah, I aint that bitch, I'm ketchup motha fucka, Mustard?

A lot of people claim that Kane always wore a wig. Then they forget all about the couple of times he was nearly "accidentally" unmasked (once in a match by Taker), and unmasked off-screen by Brisco & Patterson. Both times he retained his long hair.

Not to mention how his hair gradually grew longer during his first few months in the WWF.

I marked out when I heard the old-school "Into the Fire" theme...then I LMAO'ed when I saw Faux-Kane coming down and his awkward puppy-like crooked-head look, exaggerated compared to Kane's real head-cock pose.

Taker and Kane have very similar voices, though. I mean, I KNOW it's Kane's voice, but that could pass as Taker's voice. The only real difference in the "mind voices" and Taker's is that Taker's voice is a bit deeper than Kane's.

When he walked out onto the stage I thought he was tiny, then when they were toe to toe in the ring, I was surprised to see that they were pretty much the same height. Not much beef on him though.
