I swear I've seen this plot before, sans Jack Black.

The story is very similar to The Man in the Golden Mask

However, that one is not a comedy. It is also similar to the character King in Tekken :-\

That may have been where I saw it then, as I'm pretty sure I DID see it.

I was thinking primarily of the plot, not the comic elements. So yeah
