I saw this when I was looking at the schedule (trying to plot some Ruse Report stuff out). Is this going to be televised?

Yeah, they said it last week....on USA.

I think its going to air Wednesday night at 10. Can't remember exactly, give me a second.

Sky Sports 3 at 2am in the UK.

Should be interesting. Hopefully we'll get some matches made for the show tonight on RAW.

I hope so. Apparently, there are a few ECW guys there tonigh. It's odd, though, that they're setting up WWE vs. ECW four days before One Night Stand, which already has what basically amounts to four WWE vs. ECW matches already on the card.

John Cena vs. Rob Van Dam
Rey Mysterio (an ECW alum, but he's the World Champion) vs. Sabu

That it is. The show could be more like Saturday Night's Main Event this year, which contained only a few matches, and mostly interviews setting up or progressing the feuds and angles going into Wrestlemania.

I'd rather it not, but I guess we'll have a better idea after tonight.

This is on Sky sports as well as One Night Stand, I don't see the point though as One Night Stand is basically ECW V WWE anyway. Still going to watch it as its free however.

That's the problem with ONS. They just HAVE to make it about WWE.

Exactly. Looking at the card, it hardly looks like an ECW one. It's completley filled with WWE talent up and down, which takes the specialness out of this ppv, and makes it just another show.

And worse yet...The primary selling point is still "ECW" returning, so they're banking on something they're killing. But the ECW tards will buy it.

They are selling the name, not the product.

According to WWE.com, in addition to the Battle Royal, Sabu v. John Cena, and Rey Mysterio v. Rob Van Dam, has also been confirmed for the show.

Mysterio/Van Dam should be good, and Sabu/Cena is quite the interesting matchup. Plus, Battle royal are usually fun, so it could be a good little show.

Well, that's good news, espically since I have both Cena and RVD on my WWE Fantasy Team for this week, I hope Stevie Richards make an apperance for me actually going out on a limb to pick him up this week.

Does anyone else think Sabu vs. Cena is going to be horrible?

Yes, they both suck. And I can't see them working well together.

If you look at the ECW "Wrestlers" page, there are only 12 men on that page. So unless they hire or flip some more guys Wednesday, you'll probably see the entire ECW roster in action.

Obviously there are gonna be plenty more added, but this is shaping up REAL nicely. I wouldn't be shocked to see it degenerate into a more than 20 person brawl....I'm thinking the whole of all 3 rosters just start beating the fuck out of each other</font>
