So, me and three of my best friends were hanging out one Friday night back around 00-01, and having just rented Mario Party for Nintendo 64, we were looking forward to a long night of some Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad warfare fun (and Yoshi too, I suppose)!!!

The problem occured when we discovered we only had 3 controllers. We did a little rock paper scissors tournament for the spots and I lost. Being a standup guy that I am, I totally threw a little bitch fit about the whole ordeal to the point where we decided to go and retrieve another controller from a friend's house, on bikes.

We rode the 10 blocks to our friend's house and got the controllers. As fate would have it, on the way back, my bike skidded out from underneath me, tossing me gingerly into a barb wire fence and a patch of tumbleweeds.

I was okay, but both my hands, knuckles and wrists were totally fucked up from the crash. I had to watch, groaning in pain, as my friends represented characters from the Mario world and totally dominated each other all night long.

I once beat Super Mario Brothers.

With my feet.

I had a babysitter who managed to break her hand, so it was stuck in a cast. She used to challenge me at Mario3. She was so into the game that she learned to play with her feet. To be fair, I "handicapped" myself. It's amazing how far you can go with your feet. Never beat it though.

...Not with my feet, anyway.
