Hogan laying down in WCW

Don't know if this has been asked before because the search is fucking up for me.

I vaguely remember Hogan coming to the ring in a match and just lays down and gets pinned. What and where was this and against who and was this a work?

Fingerpoke of Doom vs. Nash on Nitro...dont remember when.

I think Bret Hart was screwed on Survivor Series too!

That was Nash laying down, not Hogan.

Hogan did lie down against Sting at Halloween Havoc in 1999 - I think it said in Hogan's book that Russo wanted him to take time off or something. Hogan didn't return until Russo was ousted as booker by Kevin Sullivan 3 months later.

I know this is weird, but i'd fuck Hogans wife in a heartbeat.

Yeah that's the one I was thinking of.

Jeff Jarrett also laid down for Hogan at BatB 2000.

Hogan had six WCW Title reigns, and he won two of them without actually wrestling.

This led to Sting retaining the WCW belt and ended up facing Goldberg who won the U.S. title from Sid Vicious earlier in the show. Goldberg won the match(which turned out to be non-title) and Sting was stripped of the title for attacking the ref. This led up to the tournament for the vacant title at Mayhem which Bret Hart won over Chris Benoit.

Rubbish booking right there.

According to "The Death of WCW":

"And then there was Hogan versus Sting, which never took place. The idea Russo wanted to get across was that he told Hogan to lose the match and Hogan didn't want to. So Hogan went out in street clothes, whispered something to Sting, then lay down so Sting could pin him and win the WCW Title. Nobody watching had any idea what in the hell was going on, the cameras quickly cut away, and the announcers never bothered to try and explain it. They attempted to explain what was happening in the main event, saying Goldberg versus new WCW Champion Sting was a non-title match. A few minutes later, Goldberg pinned him and was handed the WCW title. The show ended with everyone in a state of utter confusion."

Clearly not one of WCW's brightest moments.
