ECW on Sci-fi 6/27 Spoilers obviously
 

I thought the show was pretty good tonight.

Good opening match and I would argee with Rob about Sabu and that he has fully outperformed all expectation in WWECW all ready.

Then they introduced Knox which I guess was alright. Kelly is really hot, but she can't really dance whatever though.

O yeah Show kick Dreamer ass again which I imagine is going to keep happening.

I thought the Main event was good. I could understand though if people didn't like all the stuff on the ground that Angle did. I enjoyed watching it though. It is good to see RVD winning all the time like he use to. It's real good nostaglia to.

So again I thought the show was pretty and it was the best one so far. Still a work in progress though.

Thoughts?

Kelly doesn't deserve two back to back segments.

They could have done another segment in that slot, like.....hmmm...CW Anderson vs. Stevie Richards

That or have Francine beat down Kelly. That'd make it worth it.

lol @ Mike Knox. I like this guy so far. Too bad he didn't get a bigger reaction on his finisher. He will when they go back to the bingo halls.

Tonight gave me great hope about where this new ECW is headed. It really has gotten better every week (which isn't saying much, but it is improving but leaps and bounds each week so far.)

Im actually suprised that they didn't have Angle win to get in that SNME match, but I really enjoyed the Main Event.

Also this Sandman thing, I know its comin every week, yet I laugh my ass off .

What was up with the 'We want Cena' chants...friggin WWE fans..at least in ECW the fans stay within the show, not start an aimless chant, and it was a great match too by the way with RVD/Angle, and the crowd seemed dead.

Yeah wtf. They desperately need their crowd back.

I think last week's show was a bit better, but man, what a great main event. Yeah, Kelly is hot, but learn to dance and stop dancing to PCD, although I guess the only thing they're good for is stripper music. The Sandman segments keep getting funnier. Well, I liked last weeks slightly better.

It was a good show. They're definitly taking steps in the right direction. Now all they need is CM Punk ;).

How did the crowd sound on TV? I think we sounded pretty good live.

That "We Want Cena" chant was the gayest thing ever.

Oh, and RVD vs Angle was AWESOME. Straight up PPV-level match on free TV. But that crowd was horrible. From "We Want Cena" to the absolute lack of energy... they NEED to have ECW doing its own tapings away from "WWE" crowds. The smart fans of ECW would have reacted to Edge, etc. appropriately....

That is probably one of the worst things with the ECW right now is the crowd. Even worse, it is taped on SmackDown days, and SmackDown always has a bunch of kids in the audience. They're coming here to Detroit in a month for a SmackDown/ECW taping, and we can be a ECW style crowd.

Okay, so you can still get to the ropes in ECW? I mean, it seems like a small complaint, but when they're screaming THERE ARE NO RULES! Every 12 seconds...

LOL Kane Knight, but really, when I heard they were doing ECW again the first time I almost asked someone if they were doing it in the pool hall, I thought no I shouldn't ask they'd have to be dumb not to. I also almost asked about ECW rules, thinking no I shouldn't ask they would be dumb not to. Guess I'm some sort of dumbass.

You know what's worse? I think during the Doring/Knox match the ref (who was a WWE ref in an ECW uniform) started to count them out. :nono:

I tuned out in that match. But I wouldn't be surprised.

What I found odd was that they really emphasized that the Roadkill/Sabu match was an "ECW RULES OMFG!!1!" match, and no other match was promoted as such. So I would assume that if they stress the ECW Rules format, it's going to involve weapons. If they don't, there will be little to no weapons.
