What is this all about? On wwesmackdown.com it says that Angle will be wrestling Bob Holly why is this? This would be a face to face match up or do you think Bob Holly is turning heel? I hope he does turn heel cos he really sucks!

It's just to provide explaination of why Hardcore will no longer be chasing Brock's title, I'd imagine.

The match is a play off the fact that Angle eliminated Holly in the Smackdown Rumble last week. Hmm, WWE using a little logic there.

Newsflash, I don't want to sound like I'm flaming you, but have you heard the reactions Hardcore's been getting recently. Saying no one likes him is like saying Chris Benoit can't wrestle. Do you know who Hardcore cares about? Have you ever seen him abuse his family members or friends? The guy works hard in there night in and night out. His latest injury was Lesnar's fault, IMO. Same thing with the broken arm at the hands of Angle.

Holly is probably the most believeable and realistic worker in the WWE. Even in the business. The only person he's ever injured (from my understanding) is Matt Morgan, and that was in the rush of mid-match.

I'd be surprised if you've even met Holly at all, yet are qualified to comment on his work rate or his personality. I'm just saying, unless you have proof that Hardcore doesn't care about anyone but himself, which is pretty much impossible considering Holly would be the only person who would know that, I don't think it's fair you should insult someone like that.

In terms of not caring about anybody, Alienoid, I think 123 kid was referring to the Tough Enough incident. Not sure, though. But there is an entire thread on that anyways.

Holly is untalented, uninteresting, unimpressive, unreliable, and unable to keep from injuring himself and others. I'd rather see A-Train get a title shot, at least then I could laugh.

Yeah, I know, but I still think he said it a bit too generally. That's sort of like me saying, "Vince McMahon screws everybody! He has no decency!", just because of SS '97.

Sorry, I went a bit overboard there, but I just hate it how some people don't like someone, so they come on the internet and start bashing them. "They have no talent." and "They can't wrestle." are two of the most common ones.

If Holly was untalented he wouldn't have been hired by a million dollar company. If he was unimpressive, he wouldn't get ovations for some of the scenes he puts up in there. If he was unreliable he would have left WWE a long time ago. And when has he injured someone other than Matt Morgan? I really can't think of someone. Are you saying Lesnar dropping him on his head was Holly's fault? Maybe if your driving down a street and someone drives into your parked car you can remember that? It was Holly's job to trust Lesnar. I'm not taking a shot at Lesnar, but that was his fault. Holly doesn't go in there and try to hurt Lesnar after breaking his neck either. He keeps his cool.

I just can't stand it how you say the guy is untalented. He gets ovations, he works he crowd, he puts up decent matches. What do you have against the guy? He's not my favourite wrestler, but I'm not about to jump in there and start saying he sucks. Holly's a great talent, and probably a great guy. Sure he gets carried away, but he doesn't injure people deliberately. It's always him that gets dropped on his head, or having a mis-placed moonsault on his arm. I feel sorry for the guy. Maybe you should look how hard this guys worked over the last 10 years and see how he's always getting the short end of the stick, instead of just coming o the internet and having a go at him? Maybe you'll keep your opinions fair enough, but I'll tell you something. If he's been hired by the WWE for 10 years, hasn't received many title shots, and isn't a big player as far as politics are concerned, the guy must have talent.

I think the Kid here was just saying that Hardcore Holly sucks. Have you ever said a wrestler sucks? Probably. But anyway, his ovations are not impressive. Hardcore Holly isn't just some victim of internet bashing. He's a victim of his own failure. The guy is nothing too special. I've never budged from my seat for him, even at live shows.

I may be wrong here, but didn't he injure Diamond Dallas Page?

Yeah, they obviously felt he didn't have it as hard as they did... Kurt Angle won a gold medal with a brokern neck after all, Holly should have to suffer through it just like he did.
