The Rock

How much time does the Rock have on the WWE contract? Do you think he will be back? What do you think my friendS?

McLegend 06-29-2006 05:04 PM

I think one day The Rock will be back for a short amount of time. Probably won't return full time though.

Kane Knight 06-29-2006 05:17 PM

No time left. His deal expired. They worked out a per dium arrangement, but that's not a contract. It just means he'll do stints for money.

TerranRich 06-29-2006 05:30 PM

This should be moved to Casual. The Rock has nothing to do with wrestling.

Fixed.

St. Jimmy 06-29-2006 06:25 PM

Dwane pretty much has a outstanding Legends deal just waiting for him.

THE ROCK will always be one of my fav sports entertainers...but i refuse to go see his movies, because to me HE SOLD OUT!!!

With that being said, if he came back...drop the face gimmick, go back to the cocky Hollywood Heel we ALL loved!!!

Xero 06-30-2006 11:33 PM

I didn't like the Hollywood gimmick that much.

i always got a laugh out of it...especially the songs he did and the program with Hurricane

Xero 06-30-2006 11:41 PM

I always thought that the Corperate Rock was where it was at. Rock by his Hollywood gimmick was a sideshow main eventer.

corporate Rock was the shit too! I never cared for his good guy image very much, always seemed like he was kissing way too much ass

Skyler 07-01-2006 12:13 AM

Legends contract so basically he has a contract for no reason cause he doesn't do anything. I think he might do short term runs in the WWE but not come back full time, he's into doing movies now. Which Sucks!

RVDmark 07-01-2006 09:57 AM

Its a shame he left, Hollywood Rock was entertaining but the fact he sold out just means he'll never be an all time great in terms of giving it all for the fans. Im not saying he won't be a hall of famer or anything but he sold out.

Sorry, but there are some arguments so wholly stupid and inane, there is very little to argue with. When we enter the discussion of the Rock selling out, we enter into something where there is really no grounds besides some selfish little fans who are only bitter because he's doing something without their approval.

Hell, he even tried to compromise. He even worked both a movie schedule and a Raw schedule. He couldn't do both. But since then he's managed to come back and put people over, still being a consumate professional. If there was ever an antithesis to selling out, this is as close as it gets.
