I don't remember reading this anywhere else on here, but if it has been posted, then I'll figure out something else to do with the thread. But, under the assumption I'm telling Alienoid something he didn't already know:

Doug Basham is coming to ECW!

Starting with the July 9 show in Green Bay, Basham is joining the touring roster of ECW. I'm thinking about going to the July 23 show in Saginaw, so I checked the card and noticed that Basham would be fighting Sabu. Deep South developmental wrestlers Derrick Neikirk and Ryan O'Reilly are also scheduled to fight the FBI.

I'm actually kind of excited about going to this show now. Here's the card according to ECW.com:

ECW Title: Rob Van Dam vs. The Big Show
Tommy Dreamer vs. Test
Sandman vs. Justin Credible
Extreme Rules: Sabu vs. Doug Basham
FBI vs. Neikirk & O'Reilly
Extreme Vixen Body Contest: Francine vs. Kelly
CM Punk vs. Stevie Richards
Balls Mahoney vs. Mike Knoxx

Not a great card or anything, but pretty solid. Plus, Punk vs. Stevie!

So, anyway, the point of this thread was to tell Alienoid - if he hadn't already heard - that Doug Basham is going to ECW.

This is great news for Bashamaniacs all over the world. We're both creaming ourselves. Alright, I am creaming myself. This is good news, though, because Basham in ECW means WRESTLING. If only Nick Dinsmore had broken out of the "Eugene" character at One Night Stand, we could have Doug Basham vs. Nick Dinsmore on our hands.

Now if only they would have Val Venis start banging Melina and feuding with Johnny Nitro...:(

Hey, Basham's actually pretty great. In my opinion, of course, but I'd REALLY like to see the guy at a mid-card level.
