Is Umaga just going to keep on destroying jobbers?

Don't get me wrong, he's awesome in the ring. If Big Show was still on Raw, there would be a good feud.

Skippord 07-03-2006 11:38 PM

I dont like him at all

.44 Magdalene 07-03-2006 11:43 PM

He's Samoa Joe's Gillberg.

I can't see a good feud mid card feud for him that would be competitive. He will keep squashing people until a mainevent slot opens up, just like Khali.

Kane Knight 07-06-2006 11:33 AM

Of course not. Just when you think this angle is going somewhere, he'll be fired.

Not 1 bit.

mrslackalack 07-06-2006 12:27 PM

I heard he was going to get pushed to the main event scene after Summerslam like Masters was last year.

Stickman 07-06-2006 01:01 PM

I think he's one of the most pointless characters out there. He'll obviously never be world champ, he won't exactly have a five star match cuz he only faces jobbers. What'll happen is for no reason whatsoever he'll turn on Estrada who is another pointless character. I'm tired of this shit, same old recycled crap.

Anybody Thrilla 07-06-2006 01:56 PM

Umaga is the man.

No, that was not a type-o.

The guy can work. I even enjoyed him back when he was Jamal. Estrada adds another dimension to the character, and while the tribal savage may be a tad played out, when was the last time we really saw it before him?

I think he should feud with Cena.

Anybody Thrilla 07-06-2006 02:01 PM

No. Shut up.

Kane Knight 07-06-2006 02:12 PM

Apparently, bland shitty wrestlers are "the man."

Anybody Thrilla 07-06-2006 02:14 PM

Apparently.

Ahhh, I see.

My mistake.

Y2Jeremy 07-06-2006 02:20 PM

Yes, Good man

Anybody Thrilla 07-06-2006 02:20 PM

What makes him a 'shitty' wrestler, though? Bland, I could see, but at least Estrada's with him. In-ring, I don't think he's bad at all.

Estrada doesn't add much. All he does is yell his name and call Umaga the human bodozer or something. That's it.

Anybody Thrilla 07-06-2006 02:24 PM

People mark out for Estrada.

Londoner 07-06-2006 02:29 PM

Umaga bores the fuck out of me, same goes for Estrada. Even if Umaga was in a feud he would bore me.

Anybody Thrilla 07-06-2006 02:30 PM

He's fundamentally sound, and for a guy his size, he's mobile as shit. His offense looks believeable...I guess the only thing I haven't seen too much is how he sells, seeing as to how his opponents hardly ever get in offense.

But even if you think he's "not bad, not good", that shouldn't translate to "shitty", I don't think.

As much as I'd love to sit here and debate Umaga, I have some things to take care of. Fare thee well.

Well I know his offense looks believalbe what with that devistating thumb which can knock out any opponent.

Anybody Thrilla 07-06-2006 05:17 PM

He does more than the thumb, but OK.

St. Jimmy 07-07-2006 08:08 AM

Estrada is great, Jewmaga is not. I'm not going to bitch now, but when he gets his push and is shoved down out throats then I'll pitch a bitch.

Skippord 07-07-2006 08:42 AM

I like Estrada I hate Umaga

If Estrada sticks around, he'll be a superb manager, for several people. He's an attention getter, and that's what managers ought to be. Like Daivari, before he started speaking English.

Jamalga has got to get a finisher that looks like a finisher. Watching that damn Samoan Spike gags me everytime. Perhaps something like that super thump he does to the guys sitting in the corner. Y'know...a big move for the big guy.

And seriously, wether he's shitty or spectacular, he's going to have to get a feud going or he's gonna be lost. I mean, Viscera for 2 weeks....They saved Kamala for RAW like it'd be something great, i.e. savage vs. savage....and then squashed him. It's getting ridiculous and stupid. Hell, they keep it up, we'll have to start calling him "Ucena".

No, but it makes your point rather meaningless. That doesn't make him good, and it sure doesn't mean he adds depth to the character of Umaga.

If Vito came out tonight and started using the catchphrase "CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICKS WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICKS !!!!!"

Within two weeks people would be cheering along. And I don't just mean Loopydate and Chyna.

Mr. Nerfect 07-07-2006 10:59 PM

Umaga's been growing on me. I'm not going to call him a success story, because he's not, but he seems to be putting more energy into the character, playing it a bit better. Still a shitty-ass gimmick, though.

I like Armando Alejandro Estrada, and seems to be more over than the guy he's managing. Stick Estrada with either Shelton Benjamin or Charlie Haas. Umaga needs to go back to being Jamal, and using the Splash as a finishing move. The guy doesn't even look that big anymore, but it's better than the Samoan Spike (which I don't have a problem with, but if they are trying to rival Samoa Joa, it makes them look pussy).

Jamal should work a match with some guy instead of squashing guys. It won't hurt the guy to have the smarks on his side. If Umaga was working, he'd be over as Hell right now. The fans would react to every offencive maneuver he whipped out. Part of that may have something to do with his opponents. I really believe a face turn is in Umaga's best interests (if they are dead-set on keeping the character). The fans react to Estrada (their are signs for him in the crowd, some of them with a lot of effort, people do care) and if Umaga went to town on members of The Spirit Squad, the fans would go ape-shit. Basically have him go like Rhyno in the WWE circa 2001. Have Armando play his Heyman, I really think it would work. Then he can work matches with Benjamin and Haas, and we will all likely be riding his dick by this time next year (as much as we can for a island savage character).

Yeah, he could do this with Chris Benoit's wrestling equal DOUG BASHAM.

Alright dude, you're coming off as really pathetic now.

Chris fucking Benoit himself said Basham can go hold-for-hold with him anyday. I have not see it, though, so I have not ever called the two equals. I think I used the term "semi-equal", which to me implies Basham is half as good as Benoit. If you're going to pay me out for having faith in the abilities of a guy, partially because Chris fucking Benoit himself has confirmed them, at least quote me correctly. M'kay?

It's so pathetic everyone still thinks it funny.

You HAVE NOT EVER SEEN Basham have this kind of ability, yet you suck dick for it all the time? k...

"semi-equal" means almost as good, and is Basham is HALF as good as Benoit, THEN HE'S HALF AS FUCKING GOOD AS BENOIT, not "semi-equal" you fucking retard.

diamondcutter 07-09-2006 05:03 AM

The worst part about him is his finisher. And people say that "The Pounce" sucks.

Lara Emily 07-09-2006 05:18 AM

I think the only time it looked even remotely cool was when Kamala started to convulse.
