On the same token, not every Indie wrestler that has a massive following deserves it. I'm not saying that I agree with KK here, because I don't, but Indie fans blow a lot of wrestlers WAY out of proportion just because they're not in "the big leagues" or because they're a little bit different from the norm. Just because they're different doesn't automatically make them good at being different.

There is a bit of truth to that. Shark Boy is a extremely popular on the indy circuits, but in my opinion, he's a sloppy piece of trash in the ring.

When it comes to guys like CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielsen, and Austin Aries, these guys all seem to be the "real thing" in that their non-main-stream popularity comes not from ignorant fans who want to push them because they're not in the WWE, but because they actually are very talented and entertaining wrestlers.
