Why is Bigshow defending the ECW title against WWE superstars?

There's an ECW show now? All I see is three WWE shows, just with different names.

Because Vince has no faith in ECW "Extremists".

All the "ECW Matches" have resulted in WWE hardcore matches. The only difference is that Sabu is much more stiff than anyone in WWE ever was. And he can improvise very well, like, what I like to call, his new "Atomic Chair Slam".

Because that's what the show needs. In fact, what could draw better than Big Show vs Hulk Hogan? HCW Rules!
