When Taker and Kane had the inferno matches and when someone gets caught on fire, how did they make it work? just wondering is all.

I believe there were technically two, but the second one didn't end in someone getting lit on fire. Stephanie's teddy bear did.

There were 3 Inferno Matches:

Undertaker vs. Kane (Unforgiven) Taker wins when Kane's covered arm put on fire

Undertaker vs. Kane (Raw) Taker won when Kane's foot got put on fire/ Teddy Bear spot happened after the match when the flames were still on

Triple H vs. Kane (Smackdown!) Triple H won (don't remember finish)

X-Pac got beaten up by Taker or something and that distracted Kane so HHH could beat him

Ministry beat up X-Pac and threw him on the stage which caused Kane to leave the ring, catch his arm on fire, and go to the aid of X-Pac.
