Obscure Cartoon questions:

Anyone remember any of these shows?

The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers
Saber Rider and the Star Sherriffs
Spiral Zone
Silverhawks (This one was brought back for a time on Cartoon Network)

I used to like the Silverhawks, but I was much more of a Thundercats kid.

They both ruled when I was young.

I know Saber Rider. Nothing like anime from the 80's.

It was one crazy concept: wild west + space adventure = cartoon series.

It wasn't the only one, either. The Galaxy Rangers was basically a western crossed with Star Wars.

Saber Rider was excellent fo sho.

Oh, and then there was Bravestar, also a similar concept, though not so much as SR and the GR...

Yeah I remember Silverhawks. Thundercats was cool, I liked also Voltron...and (inserts girlish cartoons) but I know you guys probably didn't watch those :)

Funky Fly 02-07-2004 04:08 PM

Thundercats wasn't all that obscure, though.

Voltron was the man, originayly. Then Power rangers ripped it off. Then they brought it back in CGI. :nono:

Voltron was probably the best known of the cartoons at the time. Well, that or Robotech.

The Votron rehash they did was nowhere near as good though, yer right.

Voltron kicked ass

Seyda 02-08-2004 09:42 AM

Nope, none that were listed. I can remember watching Thundercats, and Speedracer...Voltron, believe it or not, I never got into.

:D

I don't remember any of those.
